You'll build and run the platform our software teams depend on: Kubernetes clusters, GitLab CI/CD pipelines, Terraform-managed cloud infrastructure, and the on-prem and air-gapped environments where much of our mission work lives. You'll write code, not just click consoles.\n\nHere's what we care about, and we hire for it:\n\n- Be helpful. Our engineers use AI-assisted development tools (Claude Code, Codex, GitLab Duo) every day to design, code, test, and debug faster.\n\nWhat You'll Do:\n\n- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines in GitLab that take code from commit to production\n\n- Manage infrastructure as code with Terraform and Ansible\n\n- Run and harden Kubernetes clusters and containerized workloads\n\n- Build and operate AWS cloud environments (GovCloud / C2S experience a plus)\n\n- Support air-gapped, hybrid, and on-prem environments, including GPU servers\n\n- Work with developers to improve build speed, reliability, security, and observability\n\nRequired:\n\n- Active Top Secret, TS/SCI, or Intel Agency clearance\n\n- Bachelor's degree\n\n- 10+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, or software engineering\n\n- Hands-on Kubernetes and Docker\n\n- CI/CD pipeline development (GitLab CI/CD preferred)\n\n- Infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible, or similar)\n\n- AWS or Azure cloud experience\n\n- Scripting or coding in Python, Bash, or Go\n\n- Clear communication and a genuine willingness to help customers and teammates\n\nPreferred:\n\n- AWS GovCloud, SC2S, or C2S\n\n- JFrog Artifactory or other artifact management\n\n- Monitoring and logging (Elasticsearch / OpenSearch, Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk)\n\n- DevSecOps practices and security accreditation (ATO) experience\n\n- Air-gapped or cross-domain environments\n\n- OpenShift or Rancher\n\nThe Honest Details:\n\n- Location: Chantilly, VA, 50% telework. You'll be on site about half the time, and we mean it.\n\n- Pay: $150,000 - $230,000, based on experience and what you bring.\n\n- Clearance: active Top Secret, TS/SCI, or Intel Agency clearance required.
