You'll do classic full stack work: Java or .NET services, JavaScript/TypeScript UIs, real databases, and event-driven integrations built on queues and messaging. Our engineers use AI-assisted development tools (Claude Code, Codex, GitLab Duo) every day to design, code, test, and debug faster, so you'll spend your time on real problems, not boilerplate.\n\nWhat You'll Do:\n\n- Build full stack features: backend services in Java or .NET, front ends in modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks\n\n- Design relational databases, write SQL that performs, and integrate applications with them\n\n- Build event-driven components with message queues and integrate with other systems through APIs\n\n- Ship your work through CI/CD pipelines, and fix the pipeline when it breaks\n\n- Work directly with customers to understand the problem before writing code\n\n- Review code, mentor teammates, and help raise the bar for the whole team\n\nRequired:\n\n- Active Top Secret, TS/SCI, or Intel Agency clearance\n\n- Bachelor's degree\n\n- 10+ years of hands-on software development\n\n- Strong backend experience in Java or .NET (C#)\n\n- Front-end experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and a modern UI framework (Angular, React, or similar)\n\n- Solid database skills: schema design, SQL, and application integration\n\n- Event-driven design with message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ, AWS SQS/SNS, Azure Service Bus, or similar)\n\n- Comfort in a DevOps environment: Git, CI/CD pipelines, automated builds and tests\n\n- Clear communication and a genuine willingness to help customers and teammates\n\nPreferred:\n\n- Cloud experience with AWS or Azure\n\n- Containers (Docker, Kubernetes)\n\n- Infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar)\n\n- Federal, defense, or intelligence program experience\n\nThe Honest Details:\n\n- Location: Chantilly, VA, 50% telework. You'll be on site about half the time, and we mean it.\n\n- Pay: $150,000 - $230,000, based on experience and what you bring.\n\n- Clearance: active Top Secret, TS/SCI, or Intel Agency clearance required.
