We are looking for senior full stack engineers who like variety, want real ownership, and want to grow with a program that keeps taking on new and interesting mission problems.\n\nThis is a heterogeneous program. No two problems look the same, and our work spans three main areas:\n\n- Data engineering: building secure ingest pipelines, designing large relational, vector, and graph data stores, and enabling high-performance analysis across structured and unstructured data\n\n- User-facing workflows and presentation: building the web applications, visual analytics, and interfaces analysts use every day\n\n- On-prem GenAI: a new and growing scope of work integrating locally hosted GenAI and multi-model AI into analytic workflows, in air-gapped and cross-domain environments\n\nYou do not need to be an expert in all three. If you are a strong full stack engineer with deep experience in at least one of these areas and curiosity about the others, we want to talk to you.\n\nABOUT THE ROLE\n\nAs a Software Developer SME, you will be a technical leader for an in-house, custom-developed analytic application. You will help set architecture, development standards, and modernization strategy, while staying hands-on in design, development, testing, and delivery. You will build scalable, secure, high-performing solutions aligned with zero trust principles and interoperability requirements, and you will mentor teammates along the way.\n\nWHAT YOU WILL DO\n\n- Design, build, test, and enhance full stack enterprise applications (UI, backend, and middleware)\n\n- Build data processing workflows and analytics that power desktop and web-based visual analytic tools\n\n- Build secure data ingest pipelines using open-source, COTS, and GOTS technologies\n\n- Design and optimize relational, vector, and graph databases and integrate them with existing data warehouses\n\n- Integrate reasoning components, retrieval systems, databases, and on-prem AI / GenAI services into analytic workflows\n\n- Establish architectural frameworks, secure coding standards, and development best practices\n\n- Lead technical initiatives and mentor engineers across the team\n\nREQUIRED SKILLS\n\n- 10+ years of experience designing and developing enterprise-scale software\n\n- Strong full stack skills with modern languages and frameworks (for example TypeScript, React, Python)\n\n- Expertise in software design patterns and application architecture\n\n- Strong experience in at least one of: data engineering (SQL, relational database design, ETL/ELT), user-facing application and visualization development, or AI / GenAI integration\n\n- Knowledge of application security, secure coding, and software quality assurance\n\n- Experience with DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and version control\n\n- Proven ability to lead technical initiatives and establish development standards\n\n- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills\n\nTECHNICAL ENVIRONMENT\n\nApplication Development and Integration\n\n- TypeScript, React, Python, FastAPI, PostgreSQL, LanceDB, lance graph, Temporal.io, Docker, Kubernetes\n\n- Integration of reasoning components, retrieval systems, databases, and AI / Multi-Model Engineering\n\n- Multi-model and multi-modality orchestration (reasoning, perception, memory, tool execution)\n\n- Temporal, spatial, geographic, quantitative, and computer vision AI\n\n- Named Entity Recognition (NER), contextual entity extraction, and entity resolution\n\n- Multi-step retrieval and structured output generation\n\n- Complex data parsing and streamlined ingestion\n\n- Deep source citation and traceable analytic outputs\n\nEnterprise Infrastructure and Cross Domain Solutions\n\n- Air-gapped, hybrid, and on-premises operational environments\n\n- Container
