In this role, you will act as a senior-level \n\ntechnical problem solver working directly with organizational leadership. \n\nYou will serve as an elite individual contributor--without direct people \n\nmanagement responsibilities--tasked with surging into challenging problem \n\nsets, leading critical R&D initiatives, and untangling tough architectural \n\nbottlenecks.\n\nIf you enjoy working independently, diving deep into research, dissecting \n\ncomplex systems, and delivering impactful solutions under defined deadlines, \n\nthis is the opportunity to make your mark.\n\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES\n\n--------------------------------------------------------------------------------\n\n1. Leadership Advisory & Rapid Surge Response:\n\n * Work directly with organizational leadership to analyze, surge onto, and \n\n resolve high-priority technical issues across various systems.\n\n2. Deep Technical Investigation:\n\n * Troubleshoot, diagnose, and fix complex performance, functional, and \n\n architectural issues across cloud environments, API integrations, and \n\n backend infrastructure.\n\n3. Applied R&D & Proof-of-Concepts:\n\n * Conduct independent research and development projects to evaluate new \n\n technologies, mitigate system vulnerabilities, and design prototypes under \n\n firm deadlines.\n\n4. Systems Architecture & Security Design:\n\n * Evaluate end-to-end system designs, identify architecture antipatterns \n\n or security vulnerabilities, and propose robust, scalable mitigation plans.\n\n5. Technical Guidance:\n\n * Provide overarching technical direction on cross-team design, API \n\n specifications, data migration processes, and system integration strategies.\n\n6. Full-Stack Problem Solving:\n\n * Write, test, and refactor mission-critical software across various \n\n frameworks, languages, and modern software design patterns.\n\nDESIRED SKILL SETS\n\n--------------------------------------------------------------------------------\n\n* Strong mastery of modern backend ecosystems (Java/JDK, Go, Python, TypeScript, \n\n Node.js, .NET) and foundational frameworks (Spring, NestJS, Gin, React/NextJS).\n\n* Deep familiarity with system design, architectural patterns/antipatterns, API \n\n design, and cloud performance optimization.\n\n* Comfort working as a self-directed individual contributor who can take high-\n\n level problem statements, run independent research, and produce concrete \n\n solutions.\n\n* Exceptional communication skills when collaborating directly with executive \n\n leadership, architects, and engineering leads.\n\nREQUIREMENTS\n\n--------------------------------------------------------------------------------\n\n1. Experience Level:\n\n * 7 to 9+ years of hands-on experience in full-stack backend software \n\n engineering, system architecture, and cloud troubleshooting.\n\n2. Backend & Language Proficiency:\n\n * Expertise in developing, testing, and deploying backend software using \n\n modern JDK/Java ecosystems, along with Go, Python, or TypeScript.\n\n3. Architecture & Design:\n\n * Proven background in systems design, assessing and mitigating security \n\n and architectural vulnerabilities, and guiding technical design \n\n implementations.\n\n4. Tooling & SDLC:\n\n * Solid experience with modern dev/build tools (Git, Jenkins, Ansible/Ansible \n\n Tower, SonarQube, Nexus, Jira, Confluence) within SAFe or Agile \n\n environments.\n\n5. Complex Problem Solving:\n\n * Demonstrated success in data migration planning, API design, and performance \n\n tuning in cloud environments.\n\n6.
