You will design, implement, and manage the core infrastructure that our team relies on every day, including our endpoint management platforms, SaaS applications, and identity provider.\nThis is a technical role for a proactive engineer who is passionate about automation, security, and building scalable, resilient systems. You will be responsible for the IT asset lifecycle, ensuring our hardware and software are managed efficiently, our access controls are robust, and our technology stack is optimized for a modern, fast-growing company.\nThis roles reports to a Senior Manager and is a hybrid opportunity (3 days on-site).\nWhat You’ll Do\n Network & Physical Infrastructure: Maintain and optimize our Cisco Meraki stack (MX, MS, CW) across 4 regional offices. Manage MDF/IDF server rooms, rack/stack hardware, handle UPS maintenance.\nVendor and Contractor Coordination: Reviewing and directing technical low-voltage cabling, structural modifications, or complex equipment integrations engineered by specialized external vendor\n M365 & Identity Architecture: Architect and administer Exchange Online, mail flow, routing, and DNS records (SPF/DKIM/DMARC). Manage Entra ID identity lifecycles, Conditional Access policies, and Mimecast secure email gateways.\nModern Endpoint Management: Engineer and maintain the full deployment lifecycle of ~650 Windows and macOS endpoints using Intune and Autopilot. Establish device imaging standards, update rings, and compliance baselines.\nAzure Cloud Administration: Support and administer our growing Azure footprint, including SQL services, App Services, and Blob Storage. \nPowerShell Scripting: Help eliminate manual operations and repetitive tasks.\n Data Protection & Recovery: Implement, monitor, and test enterprise backup systems (e.g., Veeam for M365/Azure) to guarantee data integrity and rapid recovery capabilities.\nSaaS & Platform Integration: Act as the technical systems administrator for core enterprise platforms, SSO/SAML configurations, and automated user provisioning.\nEngineering Support: Troubleshoot complex identity, network, security, and desktop infrastructure defects.\nResponsible for troubleshooting systems, applications, data integrity, and database performance on all systems.\nPerforms installations, upgrades and configurations and on-going maintenance of applications on all systems.\nUnderstand and follow work rules and procedures.\n\nWhat You Bring\nYou proactively hunt for infrastructure performance bottlenecks, security vulnerabilities, or tech debt, driving fixes from initial concept to deployment.\nYou map out the technical \"how\" of system rollouts and are responsible for system availability and security.\nYou will constantly interface with end users regarding application and workstation requests or problems.\nRequirements\nYour Education and Experience\nBachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field required\n5+ years of systems administration and infrastructure engineering\nStrong understanding of ITAM principles and hardware lifecycle management\nHands on experience with Fresh Service/ JIRA/ Service Now\nDeep, hands-on expertise with modern MDM platforms, specifically Microsoft Intune and JAMF Pro.\nExperience with patch management, monitoring tools, backup solutions, and system troubleshooting\nIdentity Services: Expert-level Entra ID (Azure AD) and Active Directory skills\nOffice 365 Email Infrastructure and secure email gateways (Mimecast or Proofpoint).\nKnowledge of Microsoft Azure services and hybrid infrastructure environments.\nPhysical server room/IDF management (racking, patching, UPS).\nNetwork Engineering: Experience deploying, configuring, and troubleshooting Cisco Meraki firewalls, switches, and wireless access points.\nAutomation: Proficiency writing functional PowerShell scripts for M365/Azure administration\nHands on with SharePoint Online and Teams architecture\nAI-Assisted Operations: Experience leveraging modern AI tools (e.g., Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude) via prompt engineering.\nYou will demonstrate strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.\nRelevant certifications such as ITIL, Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate, Azure Administrator or equivalent are preferred.\nBenefits\nBenefits & Compensation\nThe expected base salary for this role is $130,000 - $150,000 depending on your level of experience and overall background. This represents the current target and is subject to change.
