As Receptionist, you will serve as the first point of contact for the office, greeting visitors, managing incoming calls, and providing general administrative and clerical support.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome visitors, clients, and vendors in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Answer, screen, and route incoming telephone calls to the appropriate individual or department.
  • Manage visitor sign-in procedures and building security protocols.
  • Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and packages, and coordinate outgoing shipments.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception and lobby area.
  • Schedule and coordinate conference room reservations for internal and visitor meetings.
  • Provide general administrative and clerical support to office staff, including copying, scanning, and filing.
  • Maintain office directories and communicate updates to relevant personnel.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1+ years of experience in a receptionist, front desk, or customer service role preferred.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor with strong customer service skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and multi-line phone systems.
  • Ability to remain composed and courteous in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment.
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Physical Requirements

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed above are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. This position requires prolonged periods of sitting at a front desk, frequent use of a telephone and computer, and occasional lifting of mail or packages up to 15 lbs.

This position is 100% in-office. The role requires working in office during standard business hours. Remote work or telecommuting is not an option for this position.
