Implement and evaluate changes to existing processes designed to improve product quality, productivity and overall equipment efficiency.\nProvide technical leadership and mentorship to process technicians, operators and other molding personnel.\nDevelop and maintain process documentation, ensuring that processes and procedures are clearly stated and understandable for all employees. \nProvide technical support/solutions to manufacturing processes, improve yield and throughput, drive cost reduction activities and improve on part quality.\nDemonstrated ability to start-up, operate and shut down process related equipment.\nMust be able to work independently on new process development as well as troubleshooting current production issues.\nWork with equipment and material vendors to resolve machine and material issues.\nMonitor and report issues with injection molds, make recommendations for refurbishment based on production factors such as cycles, process capability and tooling history.\nFacilitate and support facility and manufacturing safety, environmental, and ergonomics efforts.\nTroubleshoot molding processes and material or equipment issues.\nCollect and analyze data on individual processes to identify and improve process capability.\nSupport process technicians through training in scientific molding practices.\nLeadership role in continuous improvement and cost reduction activities.\nYour profile\nBachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering is a requirement.\nMust have at least 3 years of practical work experience in an Injection Molding Operation.\nStrong and diverse technical background in injection molding processing, tooling, equipment, materials, manufacturing and quality.\nSelf-starter must be able to work with little direction and with a high level of self-motivation.\nAbility to manage multiple start-up projects.\nDemonstrated superior communication (written and verbal), teamwork, and organisational skills.\nExcellent computer skills, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.\nAbility to lead others, responsibility may include indirect supervision of process technicians.\nA working knowledge of a wide range of thermoplastic materials and their properties.\nExcellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.\nYour Workplace\nFounded in 1959, LINDAL Group is a global leader in aerosol packaging technologies.
