The QA Engineer helps ensure that application changes, integrations and releases meet agreed functional, technical, security and usability expectations.\nKey Responsibilities\nTest analysis and planning\nAnalyze business requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria and solution designs to identify test conditions, dependencies and quality risks.\nPrepare and maintain test scenarios, test cases, test data, traceability and execution plans for assigned features or applications.\nEstimate standard testing activities and complete them within agreed delivery timelines and quality standards.\nApply approved quality processes, test standards, security requirements and documentation practices.\nTest execution and defect management\nExecute functional, integration, regression, system and user-acceptance support testing across supported applications and interfaces.\nRecord clear test evidence and results, including reproducible steps, expected outcomes and actual outcomes.\nLog, classify, track, retest and close defects in coordination with developers, business analysts and application support teams.\nEscalate high-risk defects, environment issues, data concerns and release blockers with appropriate diagnostic information.\nQuality engineering and release support\nDevelop and maintain reusable automated tests for suitable regression scenarios using approved tools and frameworks.\nExecute automated test suites, analyze failures and maintain scripts as applications change.\nParticipate in release-readiness reviews and verify entry criteria, exit criteria, defect status and test completion.\nSupport smoke testing, production validation and post-release verification for planned deployments.\nCollaboration and continuous improvement\nCoordinate with product owners, business users, developers, architects, infrastructure teams and external service providers.\nParticipate in requirement reviews, design reviews, sprint ceremonies, defect triage and quality-improvement activities.\nShare lessons learned, update test assets and knowledge articles, and contribute to consistent QA practices.\nAdditional Responsibilities\nContribute to test automation, test-data preparation and environment-readiness improvements.\nAssist with non-functional testing activities such as performance, accessibility, compatibility or security validation under specialist guidance.\nMaintain assigned test repositories, defect records, quality metrics and release evidence.\nSupport audit, compliance and validation evidence requirements where applicable.\nEducation and Experience\nBachelor's degree, diploma, relevant technical qualification or equivalent professional experience.\nNormally 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in software testing, application quality assurance or a related technology role.\nWorking knowledge of software development and testing lifecycles, test design techniques, defect management and supported business applications.\nPractical experience with test-management and defect-tracking tools;
