The successful candidate will possess strong technical skills for managing data, the ability to communicate with a diverse group of stakeholders, share information and provide guidance to influence decisions. The incumbent is curious and can examine current practices and push productivity toward new and better ways of thinking.\nResponsibilities:\nOperations\nRegularly engage in strategic operational meetings with L&S managers and 3PL partners to assess operational challenges, and work towards improvements to enhance overall operational efficiency.\n\nDevelop comprehensive roadmaps for improving workflows and processes.\n\nAlign Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) with organizational directives to measure and track progress while making suggestions that would drive an increase in productivity and reduce cost.\n\nExecute analyses with precision, ensuring insights are communicated to stakeholders.\n\nCollect, document, and review inventory data to ensure accuracy.\n\nReport and manage capacity constraints by understanding key drivers and provide insights on drivers.\n\nSupport the inventory count reporting program by maintaining count records in accordance with financial compliance guidelines.\n\nReport and publish all inventory write-offs and adjustments, providing analysis by category.\n\nReport on Inventory Accuracy (IA) and conduct root cause analysis for accuracy lower than set targets.\n\nInvestigate material shortages and adjust inventories according to established controls.\n\nDevelop and maintain comprehensive Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for existing Supply Chain processes, recommending improvements.\n\nE-Commerce Management\nFunction as the Supply Chain contact for our E-shop team\n\nMonitor the performance of the eCommerce platform.\n\nWorks with courier providers to discuss performance and cost reduction opportunities.\n\nAnalyze eCommerce data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities.\n\nGenerate regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) for the eCommerce platform and report via the monthly scorecard.\n\nProvide insights and actionable recommendations based on data analysis.\n\nTrack and monitor inventory levels in the E-Shop during material and stock transfers and work with 3PL partners to ensure items are available for consumer orders.\n\nAnalyze inventory turnover and recommend strategies for efficient management.\n\nImplement data-driven approaches to reduce stockouts and overstock situations.\n\nIdentify and resolve issues related to site speed, downtime, and usability.\n\nCollaborate with the IT team to ensure a seamless online shopping experience.\n\nIdentify areas for improvement based on customer sentiments as it relates to delivery and fulfillment.\n\nImplement changes to address consumer concerns and enhance satisfaction.\n\nWork with the logistics manager to create forecasts for eCommerce based on expected sales.\n\nAssist in budgeting and resource allocation for eCommerce initiatives.\n\nProvide data-driven recommendations for achieving financial goals.\n\nFinancial Management (Productivity and Cost)\nSupport annual & long term (5 Years) budget planning.\n\nAssist with the preparation, development, and assembly of the yearly Distribution budget.\n\nRegularly review and update financial forecasts based on actual performance and market conditions.\n\nWorking with Management team, provide logic and reason to period-end variances in time to support weekly and monthly meetings, as well as recommend steps to contain negative variances going forward.\n\nUnderstand financial drivers to forecast, quarters, and balance of year financial outlooks.\n\nPartner with internal supply chain teams to communicate course corrections to achieve commitments.\n\nAnalyze cost structures to identify areas for improvement and efficiency.\n\nStrategic Planning / Continuous Improvement\nCollaborates with 3PL partners on strategic objectives and CI activities.\n\nAssist with the development and implementation of strategic plans to optimize warehouse and e-shop operations.\n\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to align warehouse strategies with overall business goals.\n\nPerform data analysis to support and identify opportunities, efficiencies, and insights for optimization initiatives.\n\nEngagement\nDaily interaction with 3PL on service and cost performance metrics.\n\nCollaboration with internal stakeholders such as External Vendors, Customer Service, E-Commerce, and Transportation\n\nPartnering with individuals from our internal supply chain on performance\n\nRequirements:\nBachelor’s degree in business management, supply chain & logistics or a related field\n\n3+ years of experience in DC operations and related warehouse management systems and capabilities\n\nE-commerce experience is an asset.\n\nMUST HAVE experience with perishable goods and 3PL warehouse providers.\n\nMicrosoft Office expertise includes solid proficiency in Excel and Power BI\n\nGood understanding of Regulatory Compliance\n\nBuilding relationships and managing internal/external stakeholders through effective communication and engagement strategies\n\nEffective communication skills, verbally and in writing. Must be able to communicate with impact to management and the broader organization as needed.\n\nAn initiative-taker, able to work across a matrix structure while requiring minimal supervision\n\nWorking knowledge of ERP systems (SAP preferred)\n\nRewards Package\nThe standard hiring range for this role is $78-$98K CAD per annum with a 10% performance-based bonus.
