This is accomplished by developing, following and improving upon established audit processes, policies and procedures. You will also be responsible for interpreting and enforcing policies to make ad hoc decisions in support of quality and food safety. Additionally, you are responsible for reviewing documents for compliance, reporting and partnering with all relevant stakeholders including manufacturing, purchasing, R&D (Research & Development) and QA (Quality Assurance) teams.\nEssential Job Functions & Responsibilities:\nEnsure Quality Standards\nResponsible for sampling and testing raw materials, semi-finished products, and finished products to ensure compliance with L&S specifications and standards. This is accomplished by following established procedures, including but not limited to analytical, sensory and microbiological testing.\nExecute all analytical laboratory functions for main production facility, as well as serving as backup for the cocoa liquor facility.\nResponsible for releasing products and managing non-conformances.\nResponsible for the operation, maintenance & calibration of laboratory equipment.\nManage sample retention program for raw materials, semi-finished, and finished products.\nDrive and support the implementation of new equipment and new technologies including validation and verification activities.\nEnsure compliance with all ISO and third-party quality and food safety standards.\nDocumentation and Reporting\nPerform administrative functions that relate to maintaining proper documentation. Filing of inspection reports and other relevant records to ensure complete documentation and transparency regarding compliance to L&S requirements.\nResponsible for the oral and written communication of test results and for ensuring timely disposition of raw materials and products.\nInterface with Purchasing Department and Manufacturing Supervisors to enforce quality standards in non-compliance situations. Responsibilities include managing the non-conformance process and communication with all stakeholders.\nGeneral\nResponsible for cross training current and new QA Technicians for basic analytical tests.\nResponsible for general lab cleaning. Developing and maintaining a consumable inventory and responsible for ordering consumables for the entire lab in order to ensure consistent functionality.\nProvide assistance with QA and R&D related projects as assigned.\nParticipate in Lindt Production Way (LPW) teams.\n\nQualifications & Requirements:\nSkills & Knowledge:\n2-3 years prior Analytical & Quality experience, preferably in food production environment\nProficient in MS Office applications\nProficient in SAP\nProven knowledge of database systems\nProven knowledge of Analytical systems and equipment\nKnowledge of quality & food systems\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills\nMust be results driven, self-motivated and able to work independently\nDemonstrated commitment to teamwork and internal client service orientation\nStrong data management skills\nDetail oriented\nEducation:\nBachelor's degree required, master’s degree in related field preferred\nHACCP and PCQI certifications preferred\nOther Requirements:\n2nd shift\nRequired to work weekends & off shifts occasionally\nSalary Range:\n$24.30 - $31.57\nApplicants for this position must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Starting pay is determined using a wide range of factors including, but not limited to, job-related skills, knowledge, and experience as well as market conditions.
