Well known for our leading market position in temperature-controlled warehousing.\nTo continuously expand our business and add even more value for our customers, we are hiring a Business Development Manager with a focus on our Cold Store Warehouse and preferable also has some knowledge about transportation.\nIn Italy we have two warehouse locations Gattatico (R.E.) and Controguerra (Abruzzo). Although this will be a hybrid role we prefer candidates to be in the office of Gattatico at least once or twice a week.\nThe role:\nThis position combines tactical sales activities to provide end-to-end supply chain solutions for our Cold Stores and also a strategic focus on developing new business opportunities. You will also work with existing Lineage accounts to maintain and expand their business too. This will be a standalone role in Italy and you will report into the director of Business Development.\nWhat you’ll be doing:\n· Consultative selling with a focus on our Cold Store Warehouses\n· Developing new business and maintain and expand current accounts\n· Managing inbound sales enquiries and formal tenders\n· Creating tailored proposals for customer requirements\n· Building long-term partnerships with both new and existing accounts\n· Maintaining accurate records in the sales database (CRM)\nWho we’re looking for:\n· Strong B2B sales experience (consultative selling) with proven new business generation\n· Cold store knowledge/experience is very beneficial\n· Experience working to targets in a structured, professional environment\n· Proven ability to build and convert a sales pipeline\n· Broader (European) logistics experience is a must\n· Fluent in Italian and good knowledge of the English language\nWhy join lineage?\nIn addition to a competitive salary, company car, bonus, and benefits package, you’ll join a collaborative team that supports one another and shares success.
