To achieve this next step, we are hiring a Business Development Manager to focus on end-to-end frozen supply chain solutions.\nThe role:\nThis position combines tactical sales activities to provide end-to-end frozen supply chain solutions and also a strategic focus on developing new customer-driven solutions for Road Transportation and International Forwarding.\nYou will also work with existing Lineage accounts, for example collaborating with warehousing customers to identify opportunities to broaden Lineage's service offer. The role requires building strong relationships with supply chain decision makers and tailoring solutions that deliver long term value.\nThe role is hybrid You need to be at least one day a week in our Heywood (north of Manchester).\nWhat you’ll be doing:\nConsultative selling with a focus on end-to-end frozen supply chain solutions\nDeveloping new customer-driven solutions with a focus on inbound shipping and road transportation to our warehouses.\nWorking together with the Business Development team of Warehousing and Site management.\nProactively hunting for new business and building a sales pipeline\nManaging inbound sales enquiries and formal tenders\nCreating tailored proposals for customer requirements\nBuilding long-term partnerships with both new and existing accounts\nMaintaining accurate records in the sales database (CRM)\nWho we’re looking for:\nStrong B2B sales experience (consultative selling) with proven new business generation\nExperience working to targets in a structured, professional environment\nProven ability to build and convert a sales pipeline\nKnowledge of 3PL end-to-end supply chains, ideally within road transportation\nBroader European logistics experience\nWhy join lineage?\nIn addition to a competitive salary, company car, bonus, and benefits package, you’ll join a collaborative team that supports one another and shares success.
