As the Facility Maintenance Manager, you will serve as the on-site maintenance leader for a small, close-knit operation of approximately 10 employees. Rather than being one member of a large maintenance team, you will have full responsibility for the facility's maintenance strategy, reliability, compliance programs, and equipment performance.What You'll Be Doing\nIn this highly visible role, you'll combine hands-on technical work with facility leadership responsibilities. You'll oversee all maintenance-related activities, including:\nManaging and executing preventive maintenance programs to ensure maximum equipment reliability.\nMaintaining and troubleshooting a small ammonia refrigeration system.\nSupporting a fleet of material handling equipment (MHE) and general facility systems.\nManaging the CMMS (X5), maintenance planning, scheduling, documentation, and work orders.\nLeading Process Safety Management (PSM), environmental health and safety initiatives, and regulatory compliance programs.\nPartnering with site leadership on budgeting, energy management, and facility improvement projects.\nIdentifying and driving capital improvement opportunities that enhance operational efficiency and reliability.\nWhat Makes the Role Unique\nTrue ownership: You'll be the primary maintenance expert on-site with the authority to influence maintenance strategy and facility performance.\nVariety: This position offers a blend of hands-on troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, project management, and compliance oversight.\nVisibility: You'll work closely with facility leadership and have a direct impact on operational success.\n Independence: Ideal for a self-starter who thrives in an environment with minimal oversight and enjoys making decisions and seeing results.\nWho We're Looking For\nThe ideal candidate is a high-integrity maintenance professional with strong refrigeration experience, particularly with ammonia systems.
