Ideal candidates possess in-depth experience in finance, accounting or economics combined with strong technical skills, natural curiosity and the ability to thrive in a highly collaborative team environment. You will partner closely with the RVPs of Operations and Sales, as well as facility General Managers and Sales Managers, to drive regional portfolios of business consisting of approximately 30 operating locations generating over $250 million of annual revenue. As the Field Finance leader for this portfolio you will need to be highly effective at facilitating and leading cross-functional teams and building strong working relationships with operating leaders at all levels. In addition, this role will lead and develop a small team of Field Finance professionals, ensuring strong execution of forecasting, reporting, planning, margin enhancing initiatives, and analytical support while building future finance talent for the organization.Job Functions\nDemonstrated success in coaching, developing, and retaining high-performing teams.\nExperience leading teams within a matrixed, fast-paced environment while balancing strategic initiatives and day-to-day business support.\nProven ability to build team capability, drive accountability, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.\nDevelop strong relationships based on mutual trust and respect with operating leaders at all levels\nPartner closely with Operations and Sales leaders to drive results, function as a regional CFO\nDrive financial results via data analysis, including key trends, variance analysis and development of financial models for decision support\nLead annual multi-year strategic plan and business plan processes, including year-over-year analysis of Site and Region level P&Ls\nContinued development and improvement of Workday and Adaptive Insights reporting, forecasting, and planning tools\nLead monthly reporting and forecast processes including variance analysis and explanations, and driving an action oriented mindset and results focus. The key is to provide insights and strategies that drive the business, not just reporting the news.\nIncrease productivity by improving automated reporting and forecasting tools\nMarket research, data mining and business intelligence ad-hoc projects\nSupport mergers and acquisitions analysis and integration as necessary\nReview and influence capital spending plans via business case, payback and profitability analysis\nDrive customer level business case and profitability analysis as necessary\nDrive overall business analysis, understanding and actions using key performance indicators, including non-financial metrics\nQualifications\nBachelors required, Masters preferred\n7-10+ years of progressive relevant experience, including management experience\nStrong analytical skills (both qualitative and quantitative), including the ability to solve practical problems and analyze processes for improvement\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex information crisply and succinctly\nStrong interpersonal skills and presence to quickly gain respect and build strong working relationships across the organization at all levels, including C-Suite/Executive\nComfort working in a hands-on, highly engaged environment and willingness to demonstrate a high degree of flexibility along with a strong work ethic and bias for action\nNatural curiosity along with a high degree of enthusiasm, commitment, servant leadership skills and a willingness to challenge the status quo\nDemonstrated ability to lead and influence without specific authority (cross-functional, matrixed teams)\nCommitment to providing outstanding internal and external customer support\nStrong knowledge of MS Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook\nFamiliarity with data query/data management tools (Access, SQL, Business Objects), Workday and Adaptive Insights experience a plus\nEstimated travel 20%\nWhy Lineage?\nThis is an excellent position to begin your career path within Lineage!
