Ideal candidates possess experience and/or education in Maintenance Management combined with strong technical skills and the ability to thrive in a highly collaborative team environment. You will be responsible for overseeing the Facility Engineering and Maintenance function. Responsible for providing direction and operational support of all Automated Warehouse equipment, refrigeration contractor management, material handling equipment maintenance and facilities maintenance activities within their locations. This includes supporting internal and external stakeholder expectations and contributing toward achieving departmental goals. Emphasis is on delivering high quality goods and services to the organization at the lowest cost in a sustainable and ethical manner. This role will be based in Ieper (Ypres). This role reports into the Regional Engineering Manager and/or the General Manager of the facility.\nWhat you’ll be doing:\nResponsible to develop and deploy solid engineering and maintenance practices, processes and procedures\nLook for synergies withing the region and the sites under its responsibility\nManaging the performance of maintenance tasks, both preventative and corrective.\nCarrying out and registering mandatory technical inspections, coordinate audits/assessments and follow up action plans.\nTo advise and initiate action in his/her site on the Lineage Europe Maintenance and Engineering strategy in consultation with the Regional Engineering Manager (REM).\nAssess the in- and outsourced technical activities of Lineage in the designated site\nManage maintenance budgets, repairs and technical service contracts across sites.\nIf necessary, engage a supplier for the efficient handling of malfunctions/repairs.
