In this role, you'll install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair equipment that supports our daily operations. You'll work alongside an experienced maintenance team and can expand your skills, including exposure to industrial refrigeration systems.If you enjoy solving mechanical problems, working with your hands, and building a long-term career in industrial maintenance, we'd love to hear from you.\nWhat You'll Do\nPerform preventive maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on facility equipment, machinery, and building systems.\nDiagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and structural issues to minimize downtime.\nAssist with inspections and basic maintenance of industrial refrigeration equipment (ammonia refrigeration experience is a plus).\nPerform preventive maintenance and repairs on material handling equipment following manufacturer and company guidelines.\nComplete maintenance work orders and accurately document inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance activities.\nCommunicate equipment concerns and repair recommendations to leadership.\nSafely operate power tools, welding equipment, lifts, and other maintenance equipment as needed.\nFollow all company safety policies and regulatory requirements while maintaining a clean and organized work area.\nPerform other maintenance-related duties as assigned.\n\nWhat We're Looking For\nRequired Qualifications\nAt least 1 year of maintenance experience or a combination of maintenance experience and technical/trade school training.\nExperience in one or more of the following:Industrial or manufacturing maintenance\nBuilding or property maintenance\nMaterial handling equipment maintenance\nMechanical or automotive repair\nHotel or facilities maintenance\n\nMechanical aptitude and experience using hand and power tools.\nBasic computer skills.\nStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.\nValid driver's license.\nStable work history with a desire to build a long-term career.\nCandidates should reside within approximately 40-50 miles of the Grand Island facility.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience in industrial refrigeration or cold storage environments.\nKnowledge of ammonia refrigeration systems.\nExperience working in food manufacturing, distribution, warehouse, or industrial environments.\n\nPhysical Requirements\nAbility to lift up to 50 pounds.\nAbility to work in temperatures ranging from -20°F in freezer environments to 100°F in dry storage areas while wearing required personal protective equipment.\nAbility to stand, walk, climb, bend, kneel, and work in confined spaces throughout the shift.\nAbility to work overtime, participate in an on-call rotation, and work occasional weekends as business needs require.\nSome locations may require working at heights and in environments with elevated noise levels.\n\nWhy Lineage?\nThis is an excellent position to begin your career path within Lineage!
