As an entry level position, training will be provided to acquire the skills necessary to grow within the maintenance team.KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nPerform basic preventative maintenance tasks and minor repairs on all mechanical assets impacting the operation of the facility, physical structure, and exterior grounds under the instruction and close supervision of leadership\nAt automated sites, perform basic preventative maintenance tasks on proximity switches, photoelectric sensors, pressure switches, push buttons and the associated testing equipment under the instruction and close supervision of leadership\nPerform basic inspections of refrigeration system under the instruction and close supervision of leadership.\nPerform basic preventative maintenance tasks on material handling equipment per manufacturer and company guidelines to ensure continual and safe operation under the instruction and close supervision of leadership\nOther tasks as assigned\nADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nOperate power tools, cutting torch and other welding apparatus to cut or join metal parts\nUtilize onsite motorized lift and rental equipment as needed while operating, inspecting, calibrating, and maintaining equipment\nMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES)\nCompletion of trade school courses or minimal experience in one or more of the following areas preferred: building maintenance, material handling equipment maintenance or refrigeration maintenance (ammonia, Freon and/or CO2)\nCapable of completing routine preventative maintenance with instructions and supervision\nFully proficient with, and capable of operating power and hand tools\nBasic computer skills\nAbility to interact and communicate with all levels of the facility\nPossess problem-solving skills and attention to detail\nAbility to multi-task and prioritize workload with demonstrated organizational skills.\nAbility to work in temperatures as low as -20 Fahrenheit/-25 Celsius in cold storage sites or up to 100 Fahrenheit/37 Celsius in dry storage sites while wearing company provided personal protective equipment and freezer gear\nMust be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs./23 kgs.; weight may be more dependent upon facility\nAbility to work a flexible work schedule and shift, including weekends if needed\nSome locations require being comfortable with various noise levels, at times, can be loud\nSome locations require demonstrated knowledge and practice of Working at Height\nPourquoi Lineage ?\nC'est un excellent poste pour commencer votre carrière au sein de Lineage !
