While the position is predominantly day shift, you will be required to work a week of late or night shifts approximately every 4-6 weeks to gain visibility across all shift patterns, support the wider operation and ensure effective management across the business.\nDuties & Responsibilities:\nLead all operational functions across shifts and departments, directing and supporting shift and department managers to achieve daily performance targets, uphold site standards, and follow procedures as set out in their job descriptions.\nEnsure full compliance with health and food safety standards, completing all necessary records for internal and external audits. You will be responsible for raising awareness of our food safety systems (HACCP) and ensuring best practices are followed throughout the site.\nPromote a safety-first culture by ensuring that all Coldstore staff operate within the company's Health & Safety and food hygiene protocols. You’ll oversee adherence to company safety codes of practice at every level.\nManage training, documentation, and compliance records, ensuring that training is completed, documented, and stored in line with company and industry standards.
