This role will be responsible for supporting both Human Resources (HCM) and Finance business functions.Please note: We are unable to sponsor work authorization for this role at this time.\nESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES:\nSecurity Design & Implementation Architect and deliver scalable, enterprise-grade security frameworks across Workday’s HR and Finance modules aligning business objectivesand security best practices.\n\nSecurity Configuration & Administration Lead the configuration and administration of Workday security, including, but not limited to:\n\nDomain security policies\n\nBusiness process security policies\n\nRole-based security groups\n\nUser-based security groups\n\nIntersection and constrained security groups\n\nSegregation of duties (SoD)\n\nTenant level security architecture\n\nAuthentication and authorization concepts\n\nSecurity inheritance and propagation\n\nSecurity Architecture & Optimization Continuously assess and mature the Workday security architecture by identifyinggaps, reducing complexityand implementing improvements that enhance scalability, performance, and least-privilege access.\n\nAuthentication & Integration Security Design and manage secure authentication frameworks,including OAUTH, SAML, Step-Up, Whitelisting, Single Sign-On (SSO), ensuring seamless and secure integrations across enterprise systems.\n\nIssue Resolution & Operational Excellence Serve as a subject matter expert in troubleshooting and resolving complex security issues, ensuring timelyresolution while maintainingsystem integrity and business continuity.\n\nProvisioning and deprovisioning users\n\nManaging role assignments\n\nSecurity group maintenance\n\nTroubleshooting access issues\n\nCreating and modifyingsecurity configurations\n\nSupporting tenant refreshes and migrations\n\nRunning security audits\n\nManaging emergency access procedures\n\nContinuous Improvement & Release Management Proactively monitorWorkday releases and emergingcapabilities, assessing impact and driving adoption of new features to enhance security posture and operational efficiency.\n\nUser Access & Provisioning Governance Establish and optimizeuser access governance, partnering with Finance, HR, IT, and business stakeholders to design efficient provisioning workflows. Plan, coordinate, and execute biannual User Access Reviews (UAR) with a focus on audit readiness and risk reduction.\n\nCompliance, Risk & Audit Leadership Drive compliance with regulatory and internal control frameworks (e.g., SOX, GDPR) by designing effective controls, supporting audits, managing evidence collection, and leading remediation efforts to address identified risks.\n\nDocumentation & Security Governance Develop and maintaincomprehensive, audit-ready documentation of security models, standards, policies, and procedures, ensuring transparency and consistency across the organization.\n\nSecurity Roadmap & Strategy Define and execute a forward-looking Workday security roadmap that leveragesnew platform capabilities, enforcesleast-privilegeaccess, and aligns with evolving organizational and regulatory requirements.\n\nQUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES):\nBachelor's degree in IT or related discipline\n\n3-5 years of hands-on experience with Workday Security (Pro certification a plus)\n\nExperience working directly with internal controls and auditors to support audit requests\n\nProven experience designing and implementing security architectures\n\nExperience with SoD, SOX compliance, User Access Reviews (UAR), and GDPR initiatives\n\nStrong Knowledge of authentication methods, including OAUTH, SAML, SSO and tenant level security configurations\n\nSupporting large global organizations with complex security frameworkand scaling for growth\n\nKey Competencies\nExcellent interpersonal, collaboration and communication skills with the ability to interact with Finance, HR, IT, and Cybersecurity teams across all levels of the organization\n\nDemonstrated ability to effectively organize and prioritize work to meet established deadlines\n\nExcellent problem solving, critical thinking and decision-making skills\n\nStrong understanding of risk management principles and mitigation strategies\n\nStrong analytical and documentation skills\n\nWhy Lineage?\nThis is an excellent position to begin your career path within Lineage!
