Assign work to warehouse associates to make certain company and customer standards of service, quality, safety, and productivity are met.Warehouse Lead\nAbout the Role\nWe’re looking for an experienced Warehouse Lead to help oversee daily operations and keep the warehouse running safely, efficiently, and on schedule. In this role, you’ll lead a team of warehouse associates, help coordinate daily priorities, and serve as a key point of contact between the warehouse team and other departments.\nIf you enjoy being hands-on, solving problems, supporting a team, and keeping operations moving, this could be a great opportunity to grow your leadership experience.\nWhat You’ll Do\nLead the Team: Plan, assign, and coordinate daily work for warehouse associates within your assigned area.\nKeep Operations Moving: Help with loading and unloading, forklift operations, product movement, and other warehouse activities as needed.\nMaintain Quality: Identify damaged or defective products and make sure issues are reported and addressed quickly.\nComplete Inspections: Perform and document daily equipment and inbound/outbound trailer inspections.\nMonitor Shipments: Check incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy, quality, and compliance. Report quantity discrepancies or other issues when identified.\nWork Across Teams: Communicate with Traffic, Customer Service, and other departments to help resolve operational issues and keep shipments moving.\nCoach & Develop: Provide direction, coaching, and feedback to warehouse associates to support performance, safety, and teamwork.\nSupport Special Projects: Take on additional projects and responsibilities as assigned.\nWhat You Bring\n3+ years of warehouse and/or logistics experience\nPrevious leadership, lead, or supervisory experience is preferred\nExperience working with warehouse equipment, including forklifts, is a plus\nStrong communication and problem-solving skills\nAbility to prioritize work and make decisions in a fast-paced warehouse environment\nComfortable providing coaching and feedback to team members\nStrong attention to detail when working with shipments, inspections, and documentation\nAbility to work a flexible schedule, including weekends when business needs require it\nPhysical & Work Environment\nThis is a hands-on warehouse leadership position. You should be comfortable:\nWorking in cold-storage environments with temperatures as low as -20°F\nWearing required PPE and freezer gear when working in cold-storage areas\nLifting at least 40 lbs., with the potential for heavier lifting depending on the facility\nWorking around varying noise levels, including areas that may be loud\nSpending time on the warehouse floor and actively supporting daily operations\nWhy This Role?\nAs a Warehouse Lead, you’ll have the opportunity to lead people, build your operational knowledge, solve real-time problems, and make a direct impact on the success of the warehouse.
