Linear is a software company headquartered in San Francisco, California, and was founded in 2019. The company provides a project management and issue tracking platform designed for software development teams to plan and build products using streamlined workflows. Its system features integrated AI agents for automated task handling and connects with developer tools like GitHub, serving a global market of technology companies and engineering teams.

At Linear, we are creating a new standard for modern software development. We are building the tools that empower the next generation of high-impact companies to do their best work. Linear's project management software is designed based on the practices and processes that distinguish world-class product teams from the rest: relentless focus, fast execution, and a commitment to the quality of craft.

Founded in 2019, Linear has become the default tool of choice for high-performance teams to build their products. A fully remote company from the start, our team is distributed across the US, Latin America, and Europe. No matter where we come from, we are makers at our core. We love new challenges and care deeply about the quality of our work.

  • Excellent communication skills and confidence working with creative teams and cross-functional stakeholders

  • A proactive, self-directed approach with strong ownership and attention to detail

  • Good creative judgment and an appreciation for high-quality design and craftsmanship

  • Experience working with designers, developers, and other creative disciplines

  • Bonus: A background in design or hands-on experience with creative tools and workflows
