This is a hands-on role for someone who combines product judgment, excellent writing, and strong cross-functional leadership.\nLocation & work mode\nLinear is a remote-first company, with optional co-working offices in San Francisco, New York, and London. This role is open to candidates based in North America and the United Kingdom. You can work from anywhere within these regions. We value deep focus and async collaboration, with intentional moments to connect in person through team off-sites, optional co-working, and occasional travel.\nWhat you’ll do\nDevelop positioning, messaging, and core narratives for feature releases, key launches, and strategic product narratives\n\nPartner closely with Product management, Engineering, and Design to refine how products are presented across in-product and external surfaces\n\nCreate and coordinate launch deliverables such as changelogs, demos, enablement materials, email, social copy, and go-to-market communications\n\nEquip Sales, CX, and other customer-facing teams with the context and materials they need to communicate new launches effectively\n\nBring customer insight, product understanding, and market context back into product and launch decisions\n\nWhat we’re looking for\nExceptional writing and editorial judgment, with the ability to make complex ideas feel clear and compelling\n\nStrong positioning and messaging skills grounded in customer problems, product truth, and differentiation\n\nGreat project management skills and ability to track large amounts of detail.\n\nComfort going deep on product details and building credibility with Product, Engineering, and Design\n\nStrong judgment, ownership, and the ability to operate autonomously while maintaining a high quality bar\n\nWhat we offer\nWe're a small, focused team that cares deeply about the quality of our work and the people we do it with.
