You will showcase our product’s value to prospects, uncover challenges and architect tailored solutions, drive successful sales evaluations, and champion customer needs internally.\nLocation & work mode\nWhile Linear is a remote-first company across the US and Europe, this role in APAC is office based 2-3 days per week, as this role will be closely connected to in-person collaboration with our growing sales presence in the region.\nWhat you’ll do\nArticulate Linear’s architecture, data model, and integration patterns to engineering and product teams; deliver tailored technical presentations and deep-dive demos for key stakeholders.\n\nDesign, plan, and execute large-scale migrations, custom configurations, and API integrations; troubleshoot proactively to ensure seamless onboarding.\n\nBuild and maintain realistic demo instances that mirror enterprise workflows, scale tests, and feature toggles-enabling sales reps to showcase Linear’s capabilities in context.\n\nCollaborate with Sales Enablement to develop technical training materials, run “train-the-trainer” sessions for new hires, and curate a library of exemplar solution playbooks.\n\nAct as the go-to technical resource for high-priority accounts; work alongside Customer Success to resolve post-sale technical issues and drive adoption.\n\nWhat we’re looking for\n8+ years in a Solutions Engineering, Pre-Sales, or similar role at a high-growth SaaS company, with experience supporting enterprise-scale deals.\n\nStrong hands-on experience with OAuth2 and GraphQL, data migrations, and product integrations\n\nExcellent communication skills-able to present complex technical concepts clearly to both engineers and executives\n\nExperience with Github and git; Linear and/or Jira strongly preferred\n\nProven ability to build realistic, scalable demo environments and troubleshoot production issues\n\nCS degree or engineering background strongly preferred\n\nCollaborative mindset with experience partnering across Sales, Product, and Customer Success teams\n\nComfort with SQL and scripting (e.g., Python or JavaScript)\n\nWhat we offer\nWe're a small, focused team that cares deeply about the quality of our work and the people we do it with.
