The role focuses on building and optimizing high-performance data infrastructure for large-scale time-series and real-time workloads in a lakehouse environment.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign, implement, and optimize ClickHouse for large-scale analytical and time-series workloads.\nBuild and maintain data ingestion and transformation pipelines.\nOptimize ClickHouse schemas, partitioning, materialized views, aggregations, and queries.\nSupport real-time and near-real-time query serving, ensuring performance and reliability.\nWork with a lakehouse architecture, using Amazon S3 as the source of truth.\nIntegrate ClickHouse with Snowflake, Databricks, and other components of the data ecosystem.\nSupport ClickHouse infrastructure and BYOC deployments on AWS.\nTroubleshoot data ingestion, storage, scalability, and performance issues.\nOwn technical decisions and clearly communicate solutions and trade-offs to stakeholders.\nRequirements\nMust-have\n6+ years of Data Engineering experience.\nStrong production-level ClickHouse experience.\nDeep knowledge of ClickHouse data modeling, table engines, partitioning, ordering, materialized views, aggregations, and query optimization.\nStrong hands-on AWS experience, particularly with Amazon S3.\nExperience with lakehouse-style architectures and object storage as the primary data layer.\nExperience with large-scale time-series data and real-time or near-real-time analytics.\nStrong performance-tuning and troubleshooting skills.\nAbility to work independently and take technical ownership.\nStrong communication and stakeholder-management skills.\nNice-to-have\nClickHouse certification\nExperience with BYOC on AWS.\nExperience with Snowflake and/or Databricks integrations.\nBackground working with high-volume financial, transactional, telemetry, or similar datasets.\nExperience delivering complex data solutions in enterprise environments.\nWe offer\nFreedom to Develop - equal opportunity to learn and grow professionally\nClear career and professional path, strong performance management system\nSocial Benefits Package\nEquipment\nEnglish lesson\nGym membership\nAll the advantages of working in an international IT company\nFlexible vacation time\nFun and inclusive in-person and digital events\nLineate is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer - We do not hire on the basis of race, colour, religion, creed, gender, national origin, citizenship, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, pregnancy, parental status, sex, gender expression or identity, sexual orientation, or any other basis protected by Georgian legislation.
