The ideal candidate does not just \"build dashboards\"; they design, maintain, and optimize robust data workflows that process large-scale financial data while ensuring data governance and operational excellence.\n\nThe ideal candidate will have strong experience in Alteryx, Python, SQL, and Power BI/Tableau, with a passion for process automation, data quality, and reporting governance. Experience in the BFSI domain will be highly preferred.\n\nKey Responsibilities :\n\n- Design, develop, and maintain Alteryx workflows for data extraction, transformation, validation, and reporting.\n\n- Build scalable ETL pipelines to process large volumes of enterprise data from multiple source systems.\n\n- Develop automated reporting solutions that reduce manual effort and improve reporting accuracy.\n\n- Create interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI and/or Tableau for business and leadership teams.\n\n- Write efficient SQL queries for data extraction, analysis, reconciliation, and reporting.\n\n- Perform data validation, reconciliation, and quality checks to ensure the integrity of reporting outputs.\n\n- Partner with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate them into scalable analytics solutions.\n\n- Optimize existing workflows and reporting processes for performance, reliability, and maintainability.\n\n- Support governance initiatives through data controls, reporting standards, and documentation.\n\n- Collaborate with global teams to deliver reporting solutions aligned with business priorities.\n\n- Leverage AI-assisted development tools such as Claude/Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or similar productivity tools to improve development efficiency wherever appropriate.\n\nRequired Skills :\n\n- Strong hands-on experience with Alteryx Designer, including workflow development, macros, ETL, and automation.\n\n- Strong SQL skills with experience writing complex queries and optimizing performance.\n\n- Good programming experience in Python, preferably using Pandas for automation and data processing.\n\n- Experience developing dashboards using Power BI and/or Tableau.\n\n- Good understanding of ETL, data warehousing, and reporting architectures.\n\n- Experience with data validation, reconciliation, and governance reporting.\n\n- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.\n\n- Experience in Banking, Capital Markets, Investment Banking, Wealth Management, or Financial Services.\n\n- Ability to work directly with business users and gather reporting requirements.\n\nGood to Have :\n\n- Exposure to Snowflake, Azure Data Factory, Databricks, AWS, or cloud-based data platforms.\n\n- Knowledge of Tableau Extracts, Power BI Service, DAX, and data modelling.\n\n- Experience with AI coding assistants such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or Microsoft Copilot.\n\n- Understanding of reporting governance, financial reporting, and enterprise data quality frameworks.\n\nPreferred Experience :\n\n- 5 - 11 years of experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, or Data Engineering.\n\n- Experience working on enterprise reporting, governance, regulatory reporting, or financial analytics projects within the BFSI domain.\nSkills\nData Engineering, Alteryx, SQL, Python, ETL, Data Pipeline, Power BI, Tableau, Data Warehousing, Snowflake DB","description_format":"text","description_chars":3426,"description_truncated":false,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":5,"management_years_min":null,"team_size_min":null,"manages_managers":false,"education":null,"security_clearance":false,"languages":[]},"benefits":[],"hiring_locations":[],"hiring_excludes":[],"relocation_offered":false,"industries":["Financial Software & Embedded Finance","InsurTech"],"lifecycle":[{"event":"open","at":"2026-09-26T02:00:24Z"}],"liveness":{"score":16,"band":"cold","label":"Long shot","p_open":0.6,"p_active":0.575,"p_room":0.45,"age_days":41,"expected_fill_days":23,"reasons":["seen:41","win:tail"],"computed_at":"2026-09-30T05:45:00Z"},"pay":null,"html_url":"https://alion.io/job/linedata-data-engineer","json_url":"https://alion.io/job/linedata-data-engineer.json","meta":{"generated_at":"2026-10-01T04:44:21Z","cache_seconds":300,"methodology":"https://alion.io/methodology","terms":"https://alion.io/terms","contact":"https://alion.io/contact","api":"https://alion.io/developers","usage":{"tier":"crawler","counted_by":"address","units_charged":1,"used_today":4236,"day_limit":5000,"remaining_today":764,"minute_limit":60,"resets_at":"2026-10-02T00:00:00Z"}}}
