scalability, and the technical growth of the team.\n\nKey Responsibilities :\n\n- Platform Engineering : Drive the implementation of enterprise applications using Python-based services, React interfaces, TypeScript, and supporting Node.js components.\n\n- Backend Solution Development : Design robust service layers, asynchronous processing workflows, and RESTful interfaces using Python frameworks such as FastAPI.\n\n- Frontend Engineering : Establish effective component structures, application state patterns, and reusable interface conventions to support complex, data-intensive user experiences.\n\n- Technical Blueprinting : Evaluate system dependencies, define application boundaries, assess design alternatives, and establish architectural patterns that support long-term maintainability.\n\n- Cloud-Native Implementation : Build and improve workloads on AWS, using serverless services where appropriate to address scalability, resilience, and operational efficiency.\n\n- Data Architecture : Develop suitable relational data structures, SQL queries, and data-access approaches that preserve consistency and support efficient application performance.\n\n- Engineering Standards : Set expectations for code quality, automated testing, version control, peer reviews, and continuous integration and delivery practices.\n\n- Technical Mentorship : Coach engineers through design discussions, complex debugging, implementation reviews, and practical knowledge-sharing sessions.\n\n- Delivery Leadership : Work with product owners, business representatives, and engineering stakeholders to break down requirements, assess technical trade-offs, and establish realistic delivery plans.\n\n- Production Readiness : Evaluate application behaviour under load, address performance bottlenecks, and incorporate appropriate security, observability, fault handling, and recovery mechanisms.\n\n- Modernization Initiatives : Identify opportunities to improve existing platform components through architectural refinement, service decomposition, automation, and adoption of suitable cloud capabilities.\n\n- Engineering Risk Management : Identify technical constraints early, communicate dependencies, and guide resolution of issues that could affect delivery timelines or platform stability.\n\nRequired Technical Expertise :\n\n- Advanced programming proficiency in Python, with substantial experience building production-grade applications.\n\n- Strong working knowledge of React.js and TypeScript for developing structured, maintainable frontend applications.\n\n- Practical experience with Node.js and FastAPI or comparable Python web frameworks.\n\n- Strong understanding of REST API design, service integration, request validation, exception handling, and API security.\n\n- Expertise in SQL, relational database concepts, schema design, and data modelling.\n\n- Ability to assess system architecture, scalability requirements, component interactions, and engineering trade-offs.\n\n- Hands-on familiarity with AWS services and serverless application development.\n\n- Experience using Git, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and automated software delivery practices.\n\n- Strong troubleshooting and analytical capabilities, with the ability to resolve complex technical problems.\n\n- Clear communication skills and the confidence to engage with both engineering teams and business stakeholders.\n\nExperience and Leadership Requirements :\n\n- 10+ years of overall software engineering experience, including at least 7 years of hands-on Python development.\n\n- Demonstrated ownership of significant technical initiatives from solution design through implementation and production release.\n\n- Experience guiding developers, conducting technical assessments, and improving engineering execution across a team.\n\n- Track record of delivering enterprise-grade applications with appropriate attention to reliability, maintainability, and performance.\n\n- Ability to balance individual technical contribution with architectural oversight and team leadership.\n\n- Experience working in enterprise software, financial technology, or other complex business application environments is preferred.\n\nAdditional Advantage :\n\n- Experience integrating AI capabilities, large language models, or intelligent automation into production applications.\n\n- Familiarity with Kubernetes and container orchestration concepts.\n\n- Knowledge of event-driven design, asynchronous messaging, and loosely coupled application components.\n\n-
