with department leadership to identify and resolve areas of improvement and set professional goals. \nIdentify and recommend innovative approaches to training sessions, such as new materials, promotes teamwork and respect. \nRepresent a “What’s best for the student?” mindset. \nRequired Education & Experience\nHigh School diploma or GED\nIBEW credentialed Journeyman Lineman, or completion of a formalized apprenticeship program\n5 years work experience in the line trade\nGood driving record (must be insurable)\nClass A CDL or ability to obtain on (may be required at some NLC training locations)\nTechnical Requirements/ Core Competencies\nPassion for training with ability to effectively train others in a classroom and field environment.\nAbility to obtain and maintain required NLC certifications (climbing, CPR, First Aid).\nProficiency in all programs and course competencies.\nKnowledge of and/ or certifications in regulations applying to craft trades (OSHA, NECS, etc.)\nBody weight must not exceed 265 pounds to stay compliant with OSHA fall protection requirements.\nPersonal mobility, manual dexterity, flexibility, and balance to work in a classroom or field setting, stand or sit for extended periods of time, bend and reach to move items weighing up to 65 pounds.\nPhysically capable of repeatedly performing all job functions associated with their craft.\nStamina to work in an outdoor environment with exposure to adverse weather conditions and noise.\nProficient in the use of computers with ability to easily learn and navigate new software.\nCommitment to
