You will make foundational decisions that determine how we deploy, scale, and earn the trust of some of the most security-conscious organizations in the world. This is a role for someone who has done this before, and is ready to do it better than ever.\nDue to the sensitive nature of certain customers, additional details about role responsibilities are shared under NDA with qualifying candidates.\nWhat You'll Own\nDesign and build Linero's cloud infrastructure, from networking and compute to storage, access controls, and deployment pipelines\n\nArchitect the platform with FedRAMP authorization as a north star, embedding compliance requirements into the infrastructure\n\nOwn the security posture of the platform end-to-end: threat modeling, vulnerability management, incident response, and audit readiness\n\nBuild and maintain CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, and observability tooling that give the engineering team confidence to ship fast without compromising reliability\n\nEstablish the operational practices - monitoring, alerting, on-call, runbooks - that will underpin Linero's reliability commitments to enterprise customers\n\nPartner closely with the engineering team to ensure that infrastructure decisions support product velocity\n\nWhat We're Looking For\n7+ years of experience in infrastructure, cloud engineering, or site reliability engineering - with a track record that includes building secure, compliant platforms at scale\n\nDeep AWS expertise across the services that matter most for a production-grade, security-conscious platform: IAM, VPC, EKS, RDS, CloudTrail, GuardDuty, and beyond\n\nHands-on experience operating within a FedRAMP environment, or direct exposure to the authorization process; you understand what it takes and what it costs\n\nStrong infrastructure-as-code fluency (Terraform, Pulumi, or equivalent) and a bias toward automation over manual process\n\nSRE-shaped thinking; you care as much about reliability, observability, and incident response as you do about security and compliance\n\nExperience working in environments where security is not a feature but a baseline: defense, government, intelligence, or highly regulated enterprise\n\nPreference for candidates who have navigated FedRAMP authorization end-to-end across more than one organization or platform build\n\nWhat We Offer\nCompetitive compensation commensurate with experience\n\nMeaningful equity in a company at an early and critical stage of growth\n\nComprehensive benefits including health, dental, and vision\n\nThe opportunity to build infrastructure that will underpin one of the most consequential platforms of this decade\n\nDirect access to leadership and genuine influence over how Linero is built\n\nEqual Opportunity & Eligibility\nLinero is an equal opportunity employer.
