For us lasting trusted relationships are everything, both with our teams and our clients.\nThe Opportunity\nIn this role you will:\nSupport the delivery of major construction projects, with a particular focus on large-scale data centre and critical infrastructure developments.\nWork as part of a dynamic, collaborative project management team, supported by specialist cost and schedule management colleagues\nBenefit from structured on-the-job training, alongside monthly team workshops designed to accelerate your professional development\nActively participate in project meetings, monitoring progress, identifying challenges and working collaboratively with stakeholders to develop practical solutions\nImplement project procedures and promote consistent adherence to agreed processes, standards and project requirements\nWork closely with the client, consultant and contractor teams to monitor and continuously improve project delivery processes\nMaintain a visible presence on site, assessing construction progress, engaging with delivery teams and promoting safe working practices\nDevelop and maintain weekly action plans for critical activities, proactively following up with stakeholders to ensure actions are completed and key milestones achieved\nReview proposed variations and potential delays, helping assess their impact on the project and supporting the development of appropriate responses\nCoordinate snagging and close-out activities with the client, consultant and contractor teams, ensuring issues are tracked, prioritised and resolved to support successful project handover\nTake ownership of assigned tasks, demonstrate initiative and contribute ideas to improve project performance and delivery outcomes.\nWe would love to hear from you if you:\nHave a genuine passion for construction and a strong desire to be involved in the practical delivery of projects\nAre a dynamic, proactive thinker who enjoys solving problems, challenging assumptions constructively and finding better ways to deliver\nAre looking to accelerate your career in construction delivery and develop the skills to become a confident Project Manager\nThrive in a collaborative, supportive team environment and enjoy working with a wide range of project stakeholders\nHold a degree, apprenticeship or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline\nEnjoy working in a fast-paced environment where you can take ownership of your priorities, manage deadlines and make a tangible contribution\nAre an effective communicator, both verbally and in writing, with the confidence to engage with clients, consultants and contractors\nAre based within a reasonable commuting distance of Hayes / West London, or are willing to commute to the project site\nAre committed to working on site five days a week, embracing the opportunity to learn first-hand about construction methods, site operations and project delivery\nIdeally, have 1-2 years' experience working for a general contractor within the construction sector.
