Acting as Linesight’s senior representative in country, you will ensure cultural, operational, and commercial excellence; oversee compliance and risk management; enhance external visibility; and align all activity with regional and global strategy.\nThe Opportunity\nKey Responsibilities\nBusiness Growth & Market Leadership (Primary Focus)\nDefine and execute a clear market entry and growth strategy for Data Centres, Life Sciences and Hi-Tech Industry and critical infrastructure within Germany\nBuild a sustainable, high quality pipeline across key sectors .\nIdentify and exploit whitespace opportunities, positioning Linesight to secure flagship projects, frameworks, and long term client relationships.\nLead from the front in work winning, major bids, and commercial negotiations.\nEstablish Linesight as a recognised market leader in the local market.\nStrengthen market presence, brand visibility, and thought leadership through targeted external engagement.\nCommercial & Financial Ownership\nOwn and deliver against country revenue, margin, and growth targets.\nDrive predictable pipeline conversion and sustainable commercial performance.\nLead or oversee contract negotiations with a focus on commercial protection and risk mitigation.\nContribute to, and be accountable for, country budgets, forecasting, and headcount planning.\nEnsure accurate revenue recovery, financial reporting, and utilisation discipline.\nUse Salesforce, BNB, and other tools to manage pipeline, forecasting, and business fundamentals.\nClient Leadership & External Relationships\nBuild and maintain senior level, trusted client relationships across the full project lifecycle.\nAct as the senior escalation point and trusted advisor to key clients and stakeholders.\nEmbed Linesight strategically within client organisations to drive repeat work and long term partnerships.\nRepresent the business externally through industry bodies, conferences, partnerships, and speaking engagements.\nStrengthen Linesight’s reputation for excellence, innovation, and reliability in Germany.\nPeople Leadership & Team Development\nBuild, lead, and scale high performing, multidisciplinary teams aligned to growth trajectory.\nCreate an accountable, performance driven culture with clear career paths and progression.\nAttract, develop, and retain talent in competitive markets, partnering closely with HR and Talent Acquisition.\nDrive workforce planning, capacity forecasting, and succession planning.\nChampion DE&I, wellbeing, and a positive, inclusive culture.\nDevelop future leaders to support sustained country and regional growth.\nDelivery Oversight & Operational Excellence\nMaintain senior oversight of delivery across all major programmes in Germany.\nEnsure consistent excellence across:\nCost management\nProject and programme management\nRisk and controls\nProcurement and commercial delivery\nImplement scalable delivery and governance structures that protect quality during rapid growth.\nProvide escalation support for key engagements, including start up, intervention, and close out phases.\nPromote a strong culture of Health & Safety, Quality, and Professional Standards.\nCountry Operations, Governance & Compliance\nAct as the senior accountable leader for country level governance, compliance, and risk management.\nEnsure compliance with all local statutory, regulatory, employment law, H&S, data protection, and industry requirements.\nOversee local audits, filings, reporting, and interactions with statutory authorities.\nMaintain country level legal, corporate, and operational documentation.\nOversee business continuity planning and incident escalation aligned with global frameworks.\nEnsure office operations, facilities, IT, security, and infrastructure meet global standards and support growth.\nStrategic Alignment & Regional Collaboration\nPartner closely with the European Leadership Team and Executive Board.\nAlign country growth plans with regional and global strategy, priorities, and investment decisions.\nContribute strategic insights, market intelligence, and risk assessments to regional forums.\nSupport global initiatives across innovation, digital transformation, sustainability, and standardisation.\nShare best practice and lessons learned across the wider business.\nCandidate Profile\nProven track record of building and scaling a business unit, sector, region, or country operation.\nStrong experience in key sectors such as data centres and/or mission critical infrastructure.. Life Science and High Tech Industry\nDemonstrated success in winning work, growing revenue, and leading major client relationships.\nSenior leadership experience with commercial and financial accountability (including P&L ownership or equivalent).\nStrong industry network across developers, hyperscalers, contractors, and key stakeholders.\nProven ability to hire, lead, and develop high performing teams.\nComfortable operating in ambiguity; able to create structure without stifling growth.\nBalanced leadership style: commercially driven, people focused, and governance minded.\nProfessional working proficiency in German, with fluency in English, is required for this role.\nRelevant formal qualification required, Degree in Construction, Engineering, Architecture or similar.\nChartered status (e.g. RICS, CIOB, RIBA, PMI) preferred.\nAll interviews are conducted either in person or virtually with video required\nAbout us\nLinesight is a highly successful global project and cost management consultancy that keeps clients coming back.
