As a High Voltage (HV) Technical Lead at Linesight, you’ll oversee the planning, coordination, and delivery of HV electrical systems on major construction projects. Working with diverse, high-performing teams, you’ll help deliver complex infrastructure safely, on time, and to the highest technical standards. The Opportunity
In this role, you will:
- Lead / manage the entire lifecycle of the HV project, from design/ planning/ construction/ technical compliance, through to commissioning and handover
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to motivate teams and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders
- Have a strong analytical and problem-solving ability and approach
- Familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and regulations for complex HV systems
- Leading technical teams, coordinating with stakeholders, Designers, utility companies, and contractors
- Manage the design process and review/approvals process
- Manage adherence to the regional HV regulatory bodies
- Manage project risks and ensure compliance with local safety and quality standards
- A strong understanding of (HSE) health/safety/environment principles within the context of HV operations and projects.
We would love to hear from you if you:
- Have strong experience delivering HV electrical systems on large or complex construction projects
- Substation experience is a must
- Bring an engineering or construction background, ideally with HV or energy infrastructure experience
- Understand utility protocols, commissioning practices, and safety standards for HV systems
- Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Are proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to safety and quality.
