This role will manage permanent and temporary power enablement projects, utility coordination, permitting, power due diligence, and stakeholder engagement activities to support large-scale data centre development programmes.\nYou will work closely with client teams, developers, utility providers, consultants, contractors, and government authorities to drive projects from initial site assessment through to power readiness and operational handover.\nThe Opportunity\nIn this role you will:\nManage large-scale energy and power infrastructure projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.\nPartner with acquisition teams to support site selection and act as the Energy Team representative throughout the due diligence process.\nSupport clients in securing grid connection agreements with relevant TSOs, DSOs, utility providers, or private network operators across assigned EMEA regions.\nManage end-to-end utility connection and energy agreements, maintaining contract records and acting as the primary point of contact for contract-related matters.\nMonitor project progress, risks, quality, safety, and key milestones, ensuring effective reporting and issue resolution.\nCoordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, utility providers, and authorities to manage project interfaces and stakeholder engagement.\nLead permitting, utility coordination, and power infrastructure activities required to support project delivery.\nSupport commissioning and handover activities, ensuring documentation and deliverables are completed accurately and on schedule.\nAct as a visible leader on site, promoting safe working practices and ensuring compliance with project procedures.\nLead project meetings, communicate progress and risks, and drive timely decision-making across stakeholders.\nReview proposed variations, delays, and contractor claims, providing appropriate commercial and project oversight.\nEnsure robust project governance, documentation, data integrity, and compliance with client processes and standards.\nWe would love to hear from you if you:\nHave proven project or programme management experience delivering complex energy, utility, infrastructure, or data centre projects.\nHold a degree in Project Management, Engineering, Energy Management, Construction, or a related discipline, or have equivalent experience.\nHold (or are working towards) a professional certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, or APM.\nHave experience working with TSOs, DSOs, utility providers, energy suppliers, or grid operators.\nPossess a strong understanding of power generation, transmission, distribution, and utility infrastructure.\nHave experience managing utility connections, energy contracts, permitting, or technical due diligence activities.\nAre commercially aware, with experience managing budgets, contracts, risks, and project reporting.\nAre detail-oriented, quality-focused, and an excellent communicator both verbally and in writing.\nThrive in a collaborative, client-focused environment and enjoy building strong stakeholder relationships.\nHave experience supporting data centre, critical infrastructure, industrial, or renewable energy projects (advantageous).\nAll interviews are conducted either in person or virtually with video required.\nAbout us\nLinesight is a highly successful global project and cost management consultancy that keeps clients coming back.
