This role applies advanced financial modelling, scenario planning, and detailed commercial analysis to support strategic decision-making in budgeting, forecasting, and monthly reporting.\nThe successful candidate will be an experienced finance professional with strong commercial acumen and excellent communication skills, capable of building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams to influence business outcomes effectively.\nThis position demands a combination of technical expertise and strategic insight to drive financial performance and inform key business decisions.\nThe Opportunity\nIn this role you will be the bridge between FP&A & Construction costs.\nBudgeting & Forecasting:\nLead the development and continuous improvement of complex financial models to support annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, and long-range strategic planning\nDeliver actionable insights and clear financial narratives to business partners and senior management\nFinancial Analysis & Decision Support:\nConduct comprehensive variance analyses, scenario planning, and profitability assessments\nIdentify financial risks and opportunities\nSupport ad-hoc strategic projects and commercial initiatives with robust financial evaluation\nMonthly Reporting & Financial Cycle:\nEnsure accuracy and completeness of monthly financial results\nPrepare detailed revenue forecasts, backlog analysis, and utilisation metrics\nProvide insights into key variances versus budgets and prior periods\nProcess Optimisation:\nEnhance existing financial templates and automate data consolidation processes to increase reporting efficiency and accuracy\nRecommend improvements in financial systems and workflows\nStakeholder Management:\nAct as a trusted advisor to senior management and business stakeholders by translating complex financial data into actionable recommendations and presenting findings in a clear and concise manner\nAudit Checks:\nCarry out intrnal audits to ensure financial information, process improvement, and risk analysis. \nWe would love to hear from you if you:\nDegree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field; master’s degree or specialized certifications (e.g., ACCA, CPA) preferred\nExtensive experience (5+ years) in FP&A with substantial exposure to specialized financial modelling and analytical techniques\nExperienced user of financial systems (e.g. Oracle, SAP) and advanced Excel capability, alongside expertise in BI and data visualization tools pertinent to the specialist domain\nExperienced working in the commercial/industrial construction industries\nHighly detail-oriented, analytical, and resourceful with a proactive approach to problem solving\nStrong communication and influencing skills to articulate focused financial insight and strategy to senior stakeholders\nSelf-motivated, results-driven, and resourceful with the ability to manage multiple priorities and tight deadlines\nWork Environment:\nThis position is open to remote candidates.
