The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting scalable Salesforce solutions that drive business value and enhance user experience across the organisation.\nThis role requires strong technical expertise within the Salesforce platform, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with business stakeholders and development teams. Experience with Salesforce Revenue Cloud Advanced (RCA) and/or Salesforce CPQ is highly desirable.\nThe Opportunity\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign, develop, test, and deploy custom Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and Salesforce APIs.\nCollaborate with business analysts, product owners, and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.\nDevelop and maintain integrations between Salesforce and external systems using REST, SOAP, Platform Events, and middleware platforms.\nSupport and enhance Salesforce Sales Cloud\nImplement best practices for development, security, code quality, and release management.\nParticipate in technical design reviews, code reviews, and solution architecture discussions.\nTroubleshoot and resolve production issues, providing timely root cause analysis and remediation plans.\nCreate and maintain technical documentation, including solution designs, deployment guides, and support procedures.\nContribute to platform optimisation initiatives, ensuring performance, scalability, and maintainability.\nWork within Agile delivery teams and actively participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog refinement sessions.\nRequired Experience and Skills\n8+ years of Salesforce development experience in a commercial environment.\nStrong hands-on experience with:Apex\nLightning Web Components (LWC)\nSOQL and SOSL\nSalesforce Flows\nSalesforce APIs and integrations\n\nExperience working within Salesforce Sales Cloud environments.\nStrong understanding of Salesforce data modelling, sharing and security architecture.\nExperience developing integrations with enterprise applications and third-party platforms.\nKnowledge of Agile delivery methodologies.\nStrong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.\nExcellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.\nPreferred Experience\nExperience with Salesforce Revenue Cloud Advanced (RCA).\nExperience with Salesforce CPQ implementation, configuration, and customisation.\nKnowledge of pricing, quoting, contracting, and order management processes.\nExperience with Salesforce Industries, Revenue Lifecycle Management, or related Salesforce product suites.\nExposure to MuleSoft or other integration platforms.\nExperience with DevOps tools such as Gearset, JIRA, Provar, etc.\nExperience working in enterprise-scale Salesforce environments.\nQualifications\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.\nSalesforce Platform Developer I certification (required).\nSalesforce Platform Developer II certification (preferred).\nSalesforce CPQ Specialist certification (preferred).\nAdditional Salesforce certifications are advantageous.\nAll interviews are conducted either in person or virtually with video required\nAbout us\nLinesight is a highly successful global project and cost management consultancy that keeps clients coming back.
