We have an exciting opportunity for a National Facilities Manager to join our New Zealand team, based in Auckland.

Reporting to the National Warehouse Manager, you will take ownership of facilities management across the Linfox New Zealand network, with a primary focus on the driving consistent standards across our broader operations. This role will lead the transition from site-by-site facilities management to a coordinated national approach, ensuring our facilities remain safe, compliant, customer-ready and operationally efficient.

This is a highly visible role offering the opportunity to influence national facilities strategy, oversee significant maintenance and capital works programmes, and partner with operational leaders to enhance performance across multiple sites.

Ngā kawenga | What You’ll Be Doing

As the National Facilities Manager, you will:

  • Develop and implement national facilities standards, governance frameworks and site presentation expectations across the New Zealand network.
  • Lead planned preventative maintenance programmes and coordinate maintenance activities across critical assets and building services.
  • Manage building compliance requirements, statutory inspections, security systems and assurance records.
  • Oversee contractor sourcing, engagement, performance management and contract consolidation opportunities.
  • Develop and deliver capital works projects, including business cases, budgets, implementation plans and project execution.
  • Manage facilities operating and capital expenditure budgets, forecasting and reporting.
  • Coordinate lease obligations and property-related matters with landlords and internal stakeholders.
  • Partner closely with warehouse, transport and site leaders to improve facilities performance with minimal operational disruption.
  • Ensure facilities are maintained to a high standard for daily operations, customer visits, audits and business growth opportunities.

Ō pūkenga | What You’ll Need to Succeed

You will be an experienced facilities, property or asset management professional who enjoys working across complex operational environments and balancing strategic planning with hands-on delivery.

You can demonstrate:

  • Proven experience managing facilities, property services, maintenance programmes or capital works across multiple operational sites.
  • Success delivering preventative maintenance programmes, managing reactive maintenance and coordinating building compliance activities.
  • Strong contractor, supplier and stakeholder management capability.
  • Experience managing service agreements, budgets and capital projects from concept through to completion.
  • Sound knowledge of facilities management, building services, asset maintenance and project delivery practices.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify efficiencies, manage risk and deliver value-based outcomes.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders across multiple locations.
  • A practical, solutions-focused approach and the ability to work independently while building effective governance and collaboration.

Experience within logistics, warehousing, transport, manufacturing or similarly complex operational environments will be highly regarded.
