This role will lead the transition from site-by-site facilities management to a coordinated national approach, ensuring our facilities remain safe, compliant, customer-ready and operationally efficient.\nThis is a highly visible role offering the opportunity to influence national facilities strategy, oversee significant maintenance and capital works programmes, and partner with operational leaders to enhance performance across multiple sites.\nNgā kawenga | What You’ll Be Doing\nAs the National Facilities Manager, you will:\nDevelop and implement national facilities standards, governance frameworks and site presentation expectations across the New Zealand network.\nLead planned preventative maintenance programmes and coordinate maintenance activities across critical assets and building services.\nManage building compliance requirements, statutory inspections, security systems and assurance records.\nOversee contractor sourcing, engagement, performance management and contract consolidation opportunities.\nDevelop and deliver capital works projects, including business cases, budgets, implementation plans and project execution.\nManage facilities operating and capital expenditure budgets, forecasting and reporting.\nCoordinate lease obligations and property-related matters with landlords and internal stakeholders.\nPartner closely with warehouse, transport and site leaders to improve facilities performance with minimal operational disruption.\nEnsure facilities are maintained to a high standard for daily operations, customer visits, audits and business growth opportunities.\nŌ pūkenga | What You’ll Need to Succeed\nYou will be an experienced facilities, property or asset management professional who enjoys working across complex operational environments and balancing strategic planning with hands-on delivery.\nYou can demonstrate:\nProven experience managing facilities, property services, maintenance programmes or capital works across multiple operational sites.\nSuccess delivering preventative maintenance programmes, managing reactive maintenance and coordinating building compliance activities.\nStrong contractor, supplier and stakeholder management capability.\nExperience managing service agreements, budgets and capital projects from concept through to completion.\nSound knowledge of facilities management, building services, asset maintenance and project delivery practices.\nStrong commercial acumen with the ability to identify efficiencies, manage risk and deliver value-based outcomes.\nExcellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders across multiple locations. \nA practical, solutions-focused approach and the ability to work independently while building effective governance and collaboration.\nExperience within logistics, warehousing, transport, manufacturing or similarly complex operational environments will be highly regarded.\nTe whakaurunga | Our Commitment to Diversity & Inclusion\nAt Linfox, we are committed to creating an inclusive and diverse workplace where our people can perform at their best.
