We're committed to building an inclusive community where all our people thrive regardless of their backgrounds, identities, or other personal characteristics.\nTasks\nDesign, develop, and maintain backend services using Python.\nBuild and optimize RESTful APIs and microservices.\nDevelop software across distributed services running on Microsoft Azure - Azure experience is a must.\nWork with Azure Databricks, including Unity Catalog and serverless capabilities on Azure - this is a must-have requirement.\nDesign, deploy, and manage cloud-based solutions in Microsoft Azure.\nImplement CI/CD pipelines and automated testing workflows.\nWork with Docker in production environments.\nCollaborate in an Agile/Scrum team and participate in code reviews, planning, and architecture discussions.\nUse SQLAlchemy for database access, ORM, and data modeling.\nDevelop and maintain asynchronous and scheduled background tasks using Celery.\nWhat we are looking for?\nStrong commercial experience in Python backend development at a senior level.\nMandatory: hands-on experience developing software across distributed services in Microsoft Azure.\nMandatory: practical experience with Azure Databricks, including Unity Catalog and serverless capabilities on Azure.\nMandatory: strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure cloud solutions and services.\nProven experience with backend frameworks such as FastAPI and/or Django.\nExperience designing and building RESTful APIs and microservices.\nSolid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment workflows.\nPractical experience working with Docker in production environments.\nPractical experience with SQLAlchemy, including ORM, database sessions, queries, and data modeling.\nExperience with Celery for asynchronous processing, background jobs, and scheduled tasks. \nAdditional Expected Skills\nStrong knowledge of relational databases, preferably Oracle, or very good knowledge of other relational databases.\nStrong knowledge of Microsoft Azure cloud services and architecture.\nHands-on experience with Azure Databricks, Unity Catalog, and serverless computing on Azure.\nExperience with cloud architecture patterns, scalability, and performance optimization.\nFamiliarity with testing practices, including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.\nVersion control proficiency with Git and experience with collaborative development workflows.\nUnderstanding of security best practices in cloud and backend environments.\nAbility to work in Agile/Scrum teams and communicate effectively in English.\nKubernetes experience is a plus.\nMissing one or two of these qualifications?
