We want to know how you think and write.\nJob Functions\nAs part of a team of senior engineers, design, develop, and grow the Lingo.dev products\nWeb applications - Routing, navigation, onboarding flows, user experience, performance\n\nOpen source tools - CLI, webpack/vite plugins\n\nBackend APIs - encapsulation, API design, security\n\nDatabase layer (PostgreSQL)\n\nIntegrations - with 3rd party systems\n\nAI agents\n\nTake full ownership of features from design to deployment: draft technical designs, review with founders + the team, implement end-to-end with tests and documentation\n\n3 sprints of product roadmap work, 1 cooldown sprint (customer feature requests, improvements, bug fixes)\n\nWeekly Demo Days with the rest of the team\n\nRequirements\nBuilt an own app, or side project that others have used - could be a tool for a friend, a small product, an open-source package, anything real people relied on\n\n5+ years of production experience with TypeScript and Node.js\n\nExpert React knowledge - Suspense-first patterns, skeleton loaders, loading states\n\nExperience with SSR, CSR, and SSG\n\nDeep expertise with React routing libraries\n\nBuilt or contributed to design systems / component libraries used by others\n\nExperience designing navigation, onboarding flows, and user journeys\n\nBackend experience with Node.js (Express.js or similar) and PostgreSQL\n\nExperience designing production-ready APIs\n\nExperience with authentication and authorization systems\n\nCS degree or equivalent - algorithms, data structures, system design\n\nPrior remote work experience in distributed teams\n\nAvailable 7-10am San Francisco time daily\n\nFluent English\n\nDeep knowledge of AI coding tools and workflows - you use them daily and know how to get the most out of them\n\nOptional Skills\nExperience with Cloudflare platform (Workers, etc.)\n\nExperience with Row-Level Security (RLS) in Supabase/PostgreSQL\n\nExperience with background job workflows\n\nBuilt an AI agent before\n\nContributed to a design system or React component library used by other teams\n\nExperience with observability and monitoring\n\nOpen source contributions\n\nSpeaking multiple languages is a plus\n\nYou love Remix, React Router, TanStack Router, or TanStack Start\n\nBenefits\nOpportunity to work with latest, cutting-edge technologies\n\nWork directly with users using what you build every day\n\nSmall team working directly with founders\n\nBe a part of open-source community\n\nOccasional travel to meet the team in person\n\nConference and learning budget\n\nFlexible working hours\n\nCompetitive salary\n\nHealth insurance\n\nInterview Process\nScreening Call (Technical/Cultural Fit)\n\nLive Coding / Technical Project: Evaluating CS fundamentals and architectural depth (algorithms, system design)\n\nFinal Deep Dive (System Design & Partnership)\n\nAfter passing the interviews, there's a one-month paid trial period.
