Responsibilities

  • Develop, test and publish interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server/Cloud
  • Connect Tableau to various data sources and prepare data for visualization
  • Write SQL queries and perform data modeling, cleaning and transformation
  • Optimize dashboard performance and Tableau extracts
  • Troubleshoot data and dashboard-related issues
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into effective visual solutions
  • Apply data visualization and storytelling best practices

Requirements

  • 2-5+ years of professional experience in data visualization or Business Intelligence
  • Strong hands-on experience with Tableau Desktop, Tableau Prep and Tableau Server/Cloud
  • Strong SQL skills
  • Experience with relational databases or data warehouses, such as BigQuery
  • Good understanding of UI/UX principles and data visualization best practices
  • Ability to create clear and engaging data stories
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems or a related quantitative field
  • Good communication and teamwork skills

Nice to have

  • Python or R programming skills
  • Experience with Spotfire
