DevOps Engineer AWS

Description of the role/requirements:

Main scope is to take this solution to production hosting on AWS and prepare deployments for regulated markets, including China. That covers:

• AWS China regions, data residency and local requirements (e.g. an ICP licence),
• per-market instance isolation,
• CI/CD, infrastructure as code, monitoring, backup and disaster recovery,
• security hardening, and a CDN and WAF that work within local restrictions.

Description of the project:

Bank is building platform for managing website, mobile, messaging and other types of content across many countries and languages. It has two parts:

Backend - Java based, provides a typed REST API documented with OpenAPI, a draft/review/scheduled-publishing workflow and public page rendering.

It runs in a hardened profile, with administrator credentials supplied as secrets, and exposes health and readiness endpoints.

The build enforces quality and security gates: Error Prone, PMD, SpotBugs and OWASP dependency-check.

Frontend - the CMS dashboard. A Next.js 16 / React 19 application that acts as a backend-for-frontend

DevOps Engineer:

• Creating and managing AWS Infrastructure for hosting enterprise applications.
• Maintaining Splunk Dashboards and alerts
• Creating and managing App Dynamics jobs, alerts and health rules
• Creating and managing Jenkins jobs
• Supporting on-call activities (prod env monitoring, xMatters alerts and incidents)
• Supporting DXP Team with test envs monitoring, fixes and squad members access to AEM resources
• Supporting all additional (external) activities (e.g. Disaster Recovery Tests, KONA, WAF, CSP, markets 6.5 migration)
• Supporting all squads with releasing process activities
• Triage for DSD tickets
• Global Service Desk (CR and IN tickets) verification and approvals
• all QA activities for Content Services Squad
• day-to-day consultations and troubleshooting for squad members

Candidate Profile

• Excellent communication skill (verbal and written);
• Experience in AEM (CQ) 2+ years
