You will work closely with development, infrastructure and other technology teams to ensure platform stability, resolve complex issues and continuously improve the supportability of the environment.\nKey Responsibilities\nProvide in-depth technical BAU application and production support.\nManage incidents, problems and changes of varying complexity in line with IT Service Management processes.\nMonitor applications, processes and environments using tools such as Geneos ITRS, Airflow and BMC Control-M.\nInvestigate and troubleshoot technical and production issues, identifying root causes and driving them through to resolution.\nWork closely with UNIX, Database, Network and upstream/downstream application teams to maintain and improve service stability.\nIdentify opportunities for automation and process improvements and take ownership of their implementation.\nWork with development teams to drive bug fixes and application enhancements that improve platform stability and supportability.\nParticipate in Disaster Recovery (DR) testing and support remediation activities.\nFollow established Change Control and Fault Reporting procedures.\nIdentify, assess and manage operational risks and audit points through to closure.\nProactively share knowledge and provide cross-training within the team.\nPrioritize workload effectively in a complex and fast-paced environment.\nWhat We’re Looking For\n5-7+ years of experience in Application Support, Production Support, IT Operations or a similar technical role.\nStrong hands-on experience with UNIX/Linux and Shell Scripting.\nStrong knowledge of SQL and databases.\nProficiency in at least one programming or scripting language, preferably Python.\nSolid experience in troubleshooting and supporting applications in production environments.\nExperience with technologies such as ELK, Kafka and Zookeeper.\nExperience with Geneos ITRS, Airflow and/or BMC Control-M would be an advantage.\nUnderstanding of IT Service Management, particularly Incident, Problem and Change Management.\nExperience using AI tools to improve productivity and automate day-to-day activities.\nAbility to independently investigate and resolve complex technical issues.\nAbility to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.\nStrong communication and collaboration skills.\nVery good command of English, both written and spoken.\nWho We’re Looking For\nWe are looking for someone who goes beyond reactive production support.
