The work location of this role is remote, meaning it will be performed from the designated home work location upon time of hire, and any changes to this home work location requires a review of remote status and approval.\nAs a Forward Deployed Engineer, you will be a hands-on technical partner working directly with customers to turn complex solutions into production. You will help accelerate deployments, remove technical and implementation blockers, and drive successful launches of solutions such as MCP deployments. You’ll collaborate closely with customers and internal Engineering, Product, and Solutions teams to solve real-world technical challenges and ensure our technology delivers meaningful impact. This role is ideal for an engineer who thrives in ambiguous environments, enjoys working directly with customers, and takes end-to-end ownership from implementation through launch.\nPlease note that the shift timings for this role will be 5:30 pm to 2:30 am IST as the incumbent will support our global customers and stakeholders.\nResponsibilities:\nWork directly with customers to understand complex business and technical problems and translate them into scalable solutions. \nDesign, build, test, and deploy production-quality software tailored to customer needs. \nDevelop applications, APIs, integrations, data pipelines, automation, and workflows using modern engineering practices. \nPartner with customers and internal teams to prototype solutions, iterate based on feedback, and drive successful implementation. \nTroubleshoot technical issues and optimize solutions in customer environments. \nCollaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Solutions, and other cross-functional teams to deliver customer outcomes. \nTranslate ambiguous or evolving requirements into clear technical designs and actionable development plans. \nIdentify common customer challenges and provide feedback to Product and Engineering teams to influence product improvements. \nCommunicate technical concepts, solution designs, and implementation approaches clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. \nTake end-to-end ownership of projects, from discovery and solution design through development, deployment, and adoption. \nOperate effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and a high degree of autonomy. \nTravel to customer sites when required. \n Basic Qualifications:\n5+ years of professional software engineering or application development experience. \nExperience with programming in one or more languages such as Python, Java, Go, C++, or TypeScript. \nExperience in building and deploying production-grade software applications, APIs, integrations, or data systems. \nKnowledge of software development fundamentals, databases, APIs, and distributed systems. \nExperience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. \nAnalytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work through ambiguous and complex technical challenges.\nAbility to work effectively with customers and cross-functional teams. \nOwnership, adaptability, and ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment. \nPreferred Qualifications:\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. \nExperience in a customer-facing engineering, solutions engineering, consulting, or technical implementation role. \nExperience working with AI/ML technologies, Large Language Models (LLMs), or generative AI applications. \nExperience building data pipelines, analytics platforms, or enterprise integrations. \nExperience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and modern DevOps practices. \nExperience with cloud-native application development and infrastructure. \nExcellent written and verbal communication skills. \nFamiliarity with system design, microservices, event-driven architectures, and distributed systems. \nExperience integrating enterprise platforms such as Salesforce, SAP, ServiceNow, or other business applications. \nExperience taking products or technical solutions from prototype to production. \nAbility to understand complex business processes and translate them into technical solutions. \nExperience working in high-growth startups or environments characterized by rapid change and ambiguity. \nSuggested Skills:\nGenerative AI & LLMs\nCloud-native development\nCustomer-facing engineering\nDistributed systems\nSolutions consulting\n India Disability Policy\nLinkedIn is an equal employment opportunity employer offering opportunities to all job seekers, including individuals with disabilities.
