The work location of this role is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, as determined by the business needs of the team.\nAs a Sales Strategy and Operations Intern, you will apply the knowledge and techniques learned in the classroom to the real-world and will build your experiences and help you transform and elevate your career trajectory.\nYou will be part of the LATAM & Africa Talent Solutions team (teammates also based in Dublin and London). Main stakeholders include Sales leaders for main Latin America and Africa markets along with other key cross functional teams in the USA, Europe and Asia (Finance, Pricing, Mkt, Biz Operations).\nResponsibilities:\nTrack business performance and provide insights and recommendations to advise leadership on forecasting and performance management of the global LTS business. \nDrive strategic planning processes through data-driven recommendations (e.g., financial planning, headcount, segmentation). \nParticipating in projects that deal with complex business problems and that combine strategy, analytics, and operations at a global level. \nAdvise senior members of the sales organization on growing and optimizing their businesses by making data-driven, actionable recommendations that help them achieve their long-term strategic priorities. \nPresent insights and recommendations to executives and global sales operations partners. \nAvailability between 1 to 1,5 year of internship, 30 hours/week from Monday to Friday. \n Basic Qualifications:\nEnrolled and pursuing a bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business Administration or similar courses with an analytical focus. \n Fluency in verbal/written in English is key to efficiently communicate with your teammates based in the United States and articulate your work output to a Sr. Director/Vice-President audience (Sales, Sales and Business Operations, Finance functions). \nExperience using MS Excel and programming language (examples relating to data manipulation and quantitative analysis or financial models will be important given this role will be heavily analytical. \nPreferred Qualifications:\nAdvanced MS Excel/SQL experience is a differentiator, despite hiring for candidate’s potential and growth mindset. \nThinking through problems in a structured manner, attention to detail and highly organized. \nHigh energy, enthusiastic individual.
