We're passionate about designing an equal, fair, and accessible platform that's modern, engaging, and responsible.\nWe're looking for a Staff Product Designer to own design for the Payments Platform - the experiences that let members and customers pay, switch, get refunded, and transact with LinkedIn reliably, compliantly, and at global scale. Designing for the world's workforce takes a diverse, empowered team - come be a part of ours.\n\nLearn more about our design community at design.linkedin.com\nResponsibilities:\nOwn end-to-end design for payments, switcher, and refunds experiences across web, mobile, and new commercial surfaces\n\nPartner with Product, Engineering, Data Science, Compliance, and Finance to design new payment methods and payment optimization strategies that lift approval rates and reduce cost\n\nDesign scalable, compliant patterns for global payments (tax, trust, regulatory requirements across markets)\n\nLead design for new monetization surfaces (Marketplace Payments, Mobile Monetization, new commercial models) from 0 to 1\n\nSimplify complex billing/subscription flows (plan switching, refunds, backup payment methods) to reduce customer effort and support case volume\n\nBuild and evolve a shared design system for payments/commerce patterns used across LinkedIn's product surfaces\n\nCommunicate design vision and tradeoffs clearly to cross-functional partners and leadership\n\nApplication Requirements:\nTo be considered for this position, you must include your portfolio, website or other samples of work.\n\n Basic Qualifications:\nBA/BS degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a relevant discipline, or practical background equivalent\n\n10+ years of user experience expertise, with proven success delivering large-scale transactional, enterprise, or commerce software\n\nDemonstrated track record leading strategic end-to-end design initiatives from initial concept to release\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience designing payments, billing, or subscription management systems\n\nFamiliarity with compliance-heavy or regulated design environments (tax, trust & safety, financial regulations)\n\nTrack record of measurably improving conversion, approval rate, or reducing churn through design\n\nStrong systems thinking - able to design one coherent experience across many payment methods, markets, and surfaces\n\nExperience partnering closely with engineering and data science on experimentation\n\nExceptional visual and interaction design craft paired with pragmatic execution\n\nSuggested Skills:\nProduct Thinking\n\nVisual Design\n\nInteraction Design\n\nStorytelling\n\nCommunication\n\n India Disability Policy\nLinkedIn is an equal employment opportunity employer offering opportunities to all job seekers, including individuals with disabilities.
