Linklaters is a global law firm focused on bringing legal certainty in a changing world.
Gathers and analyses business requirements to identify and implement technical specifications and solutions that improve operational efficiency and align with strategic goals. Ensures effective communication between stakeholders and technical teams, supports project management, and continuously evaluates and improves implemented solutions.

Linklaters is a global law firm, providing legal services in 20 countries and through 30 offices.

Linklaters is a people business. Being best in class in the eyes of our clients means that our people must be exceptional.

We look not only for brilliant minds, but for people who will thrive in our environment: people who love working collaboratively and demonstrate the innovative, efficient, agile, entrepreneurial, and responsible mind-set we aim to bring to every interaction.

Ours is an environment of outperformance. We achieve this not with targets and incentives, but by fostering a positive, supportive, fair, and open atmosphere.

We respect and value difference but insist on inclusivity. We celebrate all aspects of diversity and challenge any form of bias. This is vital to our ability to work as one team, with a common goal.

The Role:

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join Linklaters on a 6-month temporary assignment, supporting a significant global People (HR) Transformation programme. Working within our Technology & Data team, you will play a key role in helping to standardise HR processes across multiple countries and support the transition to a centralised service model.

This is an opportunity to work on a high-profile transformation initiative, partnering with HR and business stakeholders to analyse current processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and translate complex business requirements into clear, actionable deliverables.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Gathering, analysing and documenting business requirements across the full project lifecycle.
  • Facilitating workshops with stakeholders across multiple locations and functions.
  • Creating process maps and identifying opportunities for standardisation and efficiency.
  • Translating workshop outputs into solution-ready requirements to support system configuration and future technology selection activities.
  • Supporting testing activity, including acceptance criteria definition and UAT.
  • Managing stakeholder engagement and driving alignment on key decisions and outcomes.
  • Contributing to the design of scalable, globally consistent HR service processes.

This role will be based in our London office, with a hybrid working model.

What we're looking for:

We're looking for a Business Analyst who is comfortable operating in complex, fast-paced environments and has a track record of delivering successful transformation change initiatives.

You'll bring:

  • Previous experience delivering business analysis within HR Services, HR Operations or HR Transformation programmes.
  • Strong requirements gathering, process mapping and business process improvement capability.
  • Experience translating business processes into system requirements, ideally relating to HR case management or workflow-driven platforms.
  • Proven ability to facilitate workshops and engage effectively with senior stakeholders across multiple countries.
  • Experience supporting RFP, vendor selection or technology evaluation activities.
  • Strong understanding of business analysis methodologies across Agile and Waterfall environments.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to bridge the gap between business and technical teams.
  • Experience using tools such as Azure DevOps, Visio, Mural and other standard BA toolsets.
  • A structured, detail-oriented approach with the ability to bring clarity to ambiguity and drive outputs through to completion.

If you're looking for an opportunity to make an immediate impact within a globally recognised professional services firm, we'd love to hear from you!
