Billing and credit control process are key responsibilities for this role.\nKnowledge transfer and transition of the processes:\nParticipate in knowledge transfer\nEnsure that service quality is maintained during transition\nEnsure high quality process documentation\nBilling process:\nCreate / monitor segments as required\nMonitor WIP against budget, create and review WIP/debt reports\nIdentify opportunities to bill\nPrepare and review fee updates\nPerform matter level checks and amendments (apply discounts, rates)\nReview narratives, manage transfers and narrative changes\nExecute e-invoicing uploads through clients’ brokerage platforms.\nPerform the billing process (draft bills/ final bills / bill reversals/ issuing partial CNs)\nCredit control process:\nContribute to defining Cash Collections policy and treatment strategies\nExecute Client Specific Cash Collection Process\nEnsure that Collect is updated with relevant comments and details of chasers, payments promises, updates\nAnalyse Client Account Balances\nWork Closely with Local Revenue Teams\nPrepare statement of accounts and sending to matter managers\nSend Reminder Letters and Emails\nCorrespond and Negotiate with Clients\nInvestigate and Resolve Client Issues\nWrite-Off Uncollectible Balances\nPrepare Cash Collections Reporting\nMonitor Bad Debt Provisions\nOther:\nBe responsible for assigned KPI’s to meet customer needs\nPerform quality control checks to ensure consistent quality of work\nParticipate in regular process reviews with clients and key stakeholders, as needed\nEscalate issues and risks to the Revenue Team Leader and Revenue Manager\nOrganise and maintain adequate electronic filing.\nEnsure adherence to policies and procedures and compliance with the Solicitors Accounting Rules.\nParticipation in process improvements initiatives\nYour experience\nHave 3 to 4 years of professional experience in Order-to-Cash / AR processes: especially in billing & credit control, gained in SSC company,\nShow excellent written & spoken English, with strong communication and networking skills,\nBring technical, numeric, and analytical expertise - Excel has no secrets from you,\nDemonstrate strong competency in data entry, data management, and Microsoft Office tools,\nAre quality-oriented, organized, and attentive to detail,\nAre customer-focused and comfortable working under pressure,\nHave knowledge of SAP or any other ERP system,\nPossess a finance and accounting degree as an asset,\nWell organised, attention to detail and accuracy\nAble to work efficiently under pressure\nTechnical, numeric and analytical skills\nLinklaters and the Team\nLinklaters are a people business.
