we are Linxon!\nThe Application Developer is responsible for designing, building, enhancing, integrating, and supporting applications across Linxon’s engineering, enterprise, SAP ERP, and SaaS application landscape.\nThe role supports new development, enhancements, integrations, migrations, and stabilization, working under Solution Architecture and Product Ownership, aligned to the Build - Run - Own operating model.\nWhat will you do?\nApplication Development\nDesign, build, and enhance applications and components across:\nEnterprise and internal applications\nEngineering-related extensions and integrations\nMicrosoft-based solutions (APIs, services, Power Platform)\nSAP-related developments and integrations (where applicable)\nWrite secure, maintainable, and well-documented code\nFollow defined development standards and best practices\nIntegration & Interfaces\nBuild and support integrations between:\nEngineering platforms (Autodesk, Bentley, Trimble)\nProject Controls systems (Primavera P6, MS Project, Procore)\nEnterprise platforms (Microsoft 365, SAP)\nDevelop APIs, services, and data interfaces\nEnsure reliability, performance, and error handling\nSAP & ERP Development Support\nContribute to SAP-related development including:\nERP enhancements (where required)\nInterfaces between SAP and external systems\nSupport ERP transition activities (e.g., Oracle → SAP)\nFollow SAP and enterprise transport, testing, and release processes\nMigration & Transformation Support\nSupport application separation and migration using: Discover → Separate → Migrate → Stabilize\nAssist with data migration, changes, and cutovers\nSupport hypercare and post-migration stabilisation\nEnsure solutions are production-ready and supportable\nQuality, Security & Standards\nEnsure compliance with:\nArchitecture and design standards\nApplication security and IAM requirements\nData protection policies\nParticipate in code reviews, testing, and defect resolution\nReduce technical debt and improve code quality\nStability & BAU Support\nSupport L2/L3 teams with defect fixes and root-cause analysis\nImprove application stability and performance\nMaintain technical documentation for support and continuity\nSupport upgrades, patches, and controlled releases\nCollaboration\nWork closely with:\nProduct Owners (requirements and priorities)\nSolution Architects (design and alignment)\nDevOps / Platform teams (build and release)\nProject Managers (delivery coordination)\nCoordinate with internal and outsourced teams\nRequired Experience & Skills\n4-8+ years of application development experience\nStrong experience in enterprise application development and integrations\nExperience with Microsoft ecosystem (APIs, Power Platform, or similar)\nExposure to SAP development or SAP integration environments\nUnderstanding of SaaS, on-prem, and hybrid landscapes\nStrong problem-solving and collaboration skills\nAbout Linxon\nShaping energy solutions to empower sustainable connectivity.\nWe combine AtkinsRéalis project management expertise and Hitachi Energy’s deep technological knowledge to create a company dedicated to substations -
