The role requires a hands-on leader with deep expertise in Cisco switches, firewalls, routers, and cloud networking (Azure/AWS), combined with strong vendor/client management skills and the ability to drive KPI-based governance and reporting.\nWhat will you do?\nLead the network infrastructure function across on-prem and cloud environments.\nArchitect and design enterprise network solutions ensuring scalability, resilience, and security.\nManage and configure Cisco switches, routers, and firewalls (ASA, Palo Alto, Fortinet).\nOversee cloud networking in Azure and AWS (VNETs, VPNs, routing, security groups).\nEnsure network security including DMZ management, VPN, and firewall policies.\nDefine and enforce network processes, standards, and documentation.\nMonitor and report on KPIs, SLAs, and compliance metrics.\nCollaborate with ITSM, Security, Hosting, and Application teams to ensure seamless connectivity.\nManage vendor relationships for network hardware/software contracts and negotiate renewals.\nPartner with clients and stakeholders to ensure transparency and alignment on network performance.\nDrive automation and monitoring initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce downtime.\nPrepare network performance reports, dashboards, and capacity planning for leadership.\nMentor and guide network engineers, fostering a culture of accountability and innovation.\nExperience, Education and other Required:\nExperience: 12-15 years in enterprise networking, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.\nStrong hands-on expertise in Cisco networking (switches, routers, firewalls).\nProven experience in cloud networking (Azure/AWS) design and operations.\nSolid understanding of network security frameworks and compliance standards.\nExperience in vendor management and contract negotiation for network services.\nStrong knowledge of SLA/OLA governance, KPI tracking, and reporting frameworks.\nExcellent communication, stakeholder management, and client engagement skills.\nFamiliarity with ITIL processes and ITSM tools (ServiceNow, Remedy, Jira Service Management).\nExposure to automation tools (Ansible, Terraform, Cisco DNA Center) is a plus\nBachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.\nCertifications: CCNP mandatory; Azure/AWS networking certifications is added advantage.\nITIL v4 certification is an advantage.\nStrong knowledge of network design, architecture, and capacity planning.\nWhat we offer:\nIn return, we offer a wide range of rewards and benefits,\n20 days Privilege Leave, 13 days Emergency leave and 14 Public holidays per year.\n\nMedical Insurance, Life Insurance and Career Progression\n\nWhen it comes to diversity and inclusion, we see things differently at Linxon - we encourage applications from people of all races, ages, genders, religions, sexual orientations and more - so whoever you are, we hope you’ll see things our way, too.\n\nAbout Linxon\nShaping energy solutions to empower sustainable connectivity.\nLinxon’s vision is to deliver the best market offering for turnkey substation projects through world-class power technologies and delivering the highest level of competence in managing infrastructure projects.\nAs a leading engineering company, we help our customers with turnkey substation solutions in the field of power transmission, renewable energy, and transportation.\nIn this role, you will have the opportunity to be part of a new company as it evolves and help shape it for the future.
