The successful candidates will be responsible for supporting the project teams throughout the entire process, from concept to commissioning. The ideal applicants will have robust background in HV Electrical Substations and construction environments generally, demonstrate outstanding attention to detail, communicate effectively with diverse teams.\nWhat will you do?\nKey Responsibilities:\nEnsure that quality-related project activities are efficiently implemented by contractors on site, meeting the specific requirements of the project.\nEnsuring site teams are aware of their quality responsibilities within the project and that they are adhered to.\nReview contractors Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) in collaboration with subject matter experts.\nMaintain project site filing systems and progressing and compiling ITPs to completion.\nPromote continuous improvement by sharing your expertise through training and regular coaching, including ongoing communication with project management, site managers, internal specialist departments, document controllers, and specialist managers from the customer.\nEnsure that construction site organisation and subcontractors comply with both project and Linxon quality requirements.\nFacilitate testing activities on the construction site in accordance with the ITPs.\nIdentify, record non-conformances and ensure effective resolution.\nSupport the project teams with customer complaints, in mitigating negative impacts on the project, and helping develop effective solutions.\nPerform quality audits In line with pre-determined annual audit schedule and facilitate audits from Linxon, the Client and ISO 9001 Certification body.\nReports to the Project Quality Lead.\nQualifications\nRelevant experience working on HV electrical substation projects and construction sites of varying size and complexity.\nIn-depth knowledge of quality assurance and quality control.\nPrevious experience working with SPEN and/or SSEN.\nCivils construction & M&E installation experience would be a distinct advantage.\nQuality management qualifications and experience would be a distinct advantage.\nISO 9001 Internal Auditor qualification.\nStrong IT skills, including proficiency in MS Office and document management.\nHealth and Safety (H&S) experience is advantageous\nMust have a valid CSCS or CCNSG Safety Passport Card, or acceptable equivalent.\nOther Specifications\nDemonstrate efficiency and a high level of technical, interpersonal, and leadership skills.\nAbility to identify and resolve problems proactively and build positive relationships with customers and suppliers.\nCommunicate messages clearly and coherently, displaying assertiveness as required for the role.\nComplete assigned tasks with initiative, flexibility, perseverance, and strict adherence to the Linxon Code of Conduct.\nMaintain an overview, remain calm, and act in a solution-oriented manner, even when faced with challenges.\nWhat We Offer\nIn return, we provide a comprehensive range of rewards and benefits:\n25 days holiday entitlement, plus statutory and public holidays, with an additional 3 days available through our purchase scheme.\nLife Assurance and opportunities for career progression.\nFlexible smarter working policy-many of our office-based and some site-based employees can work from home or as part of a hybrid model.\nCommitment to diversity and inclusion; we welcome applications from people of all races, ages, genders, religions, sexual orientations, and more.\nAbout Linxon\nOur Heritage\nWe bring together the expertise of Hitachi Energy and Atkins Realis.
