This role sits within our Supply Chain Management team. The purpose of the role is to provide local purchase requirements, identifying local suppliers required for day to day basis for the site offices and site purchases and office purchases.\nKey Areas of Responsibility (KARs):\n· Local purchases and have idea about local supplier market in UK and good understanding of substation equipment and installation Co ordination\n· Negotiate with the suppliers ,make agreements for long-term purchases.\n· Coordinate with the key site stake of site and office purchases understand the requirements\nand place orders within budget and cost.\n· Onboard local suppliers and visit the sites if required.\n· Checking if the invoice amount matches with PO milestone payment.\nCompetencies/ Skills Required:\n· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.\n· The ability to think outside the box and move things forward using own initiative.\n· Ability to drive through change.\n· Focused on the detail, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.\n· A confident individual with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships\nacross the business whilst embracing cultural differences\nExperience Required:\n- Experience in supply chain, accounting, or finance department.\n- Good knowledge of Oracle as ERP system\n- Fluent in English\nAbout Linxon\nShaping energy solutions to empower sustainable connectivity.\nWe combine Atkins Realis project management expertise and Hitachi Energy’s deep technological knowledge to create a company dedicated to substations - we are Linxon.\nLinxon’s vision is to deliver the best market offering for turnkey substation projects through world- class power technologies and delivering the highest level of competence in managing infrastructure projects.
